Ngayong araw, ginugunita natin ang ika-60 na World Day of Social Communication, isang paalala sa mahalagang tungkulin ng media at komunikasyon sa pagpapalaganap ng katotohanan, pag-asa, at pagmamahal ng Diyos.

Nawaโ€™y maging daan ang bawat salita, larawan, at mensahe upang mapalalim ang pagkakaisa, pag-unawa, at pananampalataya ng bawat isa. Sa panahon ng makabagong komunikasyon, nawaโ€™y lagi nating gamitin ang ating tinig at plataporma para sa kabutihan at pagpapahayag ng Ebanghelyo.

Patuloy nawa tayong maging kasangkapan ng liwanag at katotohanan sa mundo ng komunikasyon.

On World Communications Sunday, which coincides with Ascension Sunday, Bishop Ruperto Cruz Santos reflected on Christโ€™s Ascension as a commissioning rather than a departure.

He emphasized that every post, comment, and story contributes to the Churchโ€™s witness, calling believers to amplify Christโ€™s truth and mercy instead of noise.

He reminded the faithful that the mission to proclaim the Gospel now extends even to the โ€œdigital continent,โ€ where people search for truth and connection.

Ngayong Dakilang Kapistahan ng Pag-akyat ng Panginoon at pagdiriwang ng ika-60 World Communications Day, pakinggan natin ang espesyal na mensahe ni Rev. Fr. Manjorey O. Padilla, Priest Coordinator ng Social Communications and Mass Media Ministry ng Diocese of Antipolo.

Sa temang, โ€œPreserving Human Voices and Facesโ€, muli tayong pinaaalalahanan na sa gitna ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya at digital media, mahalagang mapanatili ang pagiging makatao, makatotohanan, at maka-Kristo sa ating pakikipag-ugnayan at pakikipagkomunikasyon.

Nawaโ€™y magsilbing inspirasyon ang mensaheng ito upang patuloy nating gamitin ang ating mga tinig, talento, at mga plataporma sa pagpapahayag ng Mabuting Balita at pagpapalaganap ng pag-asa sa makabagong panahon.

In his message for the 60th World Day of Social Communications, Pope Leo XIV reminds us that communication is more than technologyโ€”it is a sacred encounter of human faces, voices, and hearts. In a rapidly evolving digital world shaped by artificial intelligence and algorithms, the Holy Father calls communicators to protect truth, human dignity, and authentic relationships, ensuring that technology always serves the human person and never replaces genuine human connection.

As social communicators and digital missionaries, may we continue to use media not to divide or manipulate, but to build bridges of dialogue, compassion, and hope. Let every post, story, and message become an instrument of truth and evangelization, reflecting Christ in the digital continent.

The Director of the Commission on Social Communications and Mass Media of the Diocese of Antipolo, Rev. Fr. Manjo Padilla, together with priests from the Diocese, visited the final resting place of ๐™Ž๐™–๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ฉ ๐˜พ๐™–๐™ง๐™ก๐™ค ๐˜ผ๐™˜๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™จ. In prayerful reverence, they honored his deep devotion to the Eucharist and his inspiring witness of using modern technology to share the Gospel.

๐˜ฟ๐™ž๐™™ ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช ๐™ ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฌ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™–๐™ฉ?

โœจ He was only 15 years old when he passed away in 2006, yet left a lasting legacy of faith.
โœจ Known as the โ€œ๐˜พ๐™ฎ๐™—๐™š๐™ง ๐˜ผ๐™ฅ๐™ค๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ก๐™š ๐™ค๐™› ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™€๐™ช๐™˜๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™ž๐™จ๐™ฉ,โ€ he created a website cataloguing Eucharistic miracles worldwide.
โœจ He had a deep love for the poor, often helping them with his own pocket money.
โœจ He was beatified in 2020 and Canonized last September 7, 2025, making him the first millennial saint of the Catholic Church.
