There are days when our hearts feel restless, our minds overwhelmed, and our souls burdened by worries we cannot even voice out. Anxiety can creep in silently or crash like waves, leaving us feeling helpless.

But in these moments, God reminds us that peace is not the absence of problems – it is His presence amidst them.

Jesus said in John 14:27:
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

The world offers temporary comfort, but Christ offers a peace that surpasses all understanding – a peace that guards our hearts and minds when we surrender everything to Him in prayer.

🌷How do we find this peace?

🌱Pause and breathe. Remember who God is – sovereign, loving, and faithful.

🌱Pray honestly. Tell Him your worries. He already knows, but He wants you to come to Him.

🌱Hold on to His Word. Meditate on His promises, like Philippians 4:6-7, which says His peace will guard your heart when you lift your worries to Him with thanksgiving.

🌱Trust His timing. Even when you do not see the answer yet, trust that He is working behind the scenes for your good.

💙Remember this today:
Peace is not found in controlling everything around you. Peace is found in knowing that Christ holds everything in His hands – including you.

"Bago pa likhain ang sanlibutan ay pinili na niya tayo upang maging kanya sa pamamagitan ng ating pakikipag-isa kay Cristo at upang tayo'y maging banal at walang kapintasan sa harap niya. Dahil sa pag-ibig ng Diyos, pinili niya tayo upang maging anak niya sa pamamagitan ni Jesu-Cristo, ayon sa kanyang layunin at kalooban. Sa gayon ay purihin ang kaluwalhatian ng kanyang kagandahang-loob na sagana niyang ibinigay sa atin sa pamamagitan ng kanyang minamahal na Anak!

Tinubos tayo ni Cristo sa pamamagitan ng kanyang dugo at pinatawad ang ating mga kasalanan. Ganoon kasagana ang kanyang kagandahang-loob na ibinuhos niya sa atin. Ayon sa kanyang karunungan at kaalaman, ipinaunawa sa atin ng Diyos ang hiwaga ng kanyang kalooban ayon sa kanyang layunin na isasakatuparan sa pamamagitan ni Cristo pagdating ng takdang panahon.

Layunin niyang tipunin ang lahat ng nilikha sa langit at sa lupa, at ipasailalim ang mga ito kay Cristo.

"Ano ngayon ano ang masasabi natin? Ang mga Hentil na hindi nagsikap na maging kalugod-lugod sa Diyos ay pinawalang-sala niya sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya. Ngunit ang Israel naman, na nagsikap na maging kalugod-lugod sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng kautusan ay nabigo. Bakit? Dahil sinikap nilang kalugdan sila ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng mga gawa, at hindi sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya sa kanya. Natisod sila sa batong katitisuran, tulad ng nasusulat,

'Tingnan ninyo, naglalagay ako sa Zion ng batong katitisuran, isang malaking bato na kanilang kadadapaan. Ngunit ang sumasampalataya sa batong ito ay hindi mabibigo.'

Mga kapatid, ang pinakananais ko at idinadalangin sa Diyos ay ang maligtas ang Israel. Sapagkat saksi akong sila'y nagsisikap na maging kalugud-lugod sa Diyos. Mali nga lamang ang kanilang naging batayan. Dahil hindi nila kinilala ang katuwiran mula sa Diyos at nagsisikap silang gumamit ng sarili nilang pamamaraan, hindi sila sumunod sa pamamaraang itinakda ng Diyos. Sapagkat si Kristo ang kaganapan ng Kautusan, upang mapawalang-sala ang sinumang sumampalataya sa Kanya.

"What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; as it is written,

'Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence:
And whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed'

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."
