Shepherdville College Joins CTP-MAPEH-DRRM Parade in Naga City 🐏✨

Shepherdville College proudly joined the 2025 CTP-MAPEH-DRRM Parade held in Naga City on September 13, 2025. The event gathered schools from the region to showcase their talents in marching, music, arts, and disaster preparedness.

After weeks of training, Shepherdians marched in their galas, carried banners, and performed routines that showed teamwork, discipline, and school spirit.

The school also shared messages about disaster safety, reminding everyone about the importance of being prepared. It was a proud day for the whole Shepherdville community as the Shepherdians represented their school with energy and pride. Teachers and staff guided and supported them in both training and performance — reminding them that with or even without trophies, they are still the champions.

Shepherdville College Excels at Peñafrancia Festival 2025

Naga City, September 6, 2025 — The Naga City Hall grounds were filled with excitement as the 3rd CTP-MAPEH-DRRM Exhibition Competition took center stage during the Peñafrancia Festival 2025. The event highlighted the creativity, discipline, and resilience of students from different schools across the city.

The exhibition featured two major components: MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health) and DRRM (Disaster Risk Reduction and Management). Colorful performances in music, dance, and arts drew enthusiastic applause, while exhibits on first aid, emergency response, and disaster preparedness emphasized the importance of safety and community resilience.

Among the standout performers were the SvC Majorettes, who impressed the crowd with their energetic and unique presentation. Meanwhile, Shepherdville College’s Red Dragons earned 2nd Place in the DXC competition, a testament to the team’s dedication and hard work.

The event not only celebrated student achievements but also underscored the importance of nurturing young talents and promoting preparedness in the face of challenges.

Research may seem challenging at first, but with the right guidance and skills, every student has the potential to thrive.
The program “Cultivating Research Excellence: Empowering Students Through Advanced Writing Skills and Methodological Mastery”, coducted on the 4th day of September, is designed to help students grow into confident and capable researchers — equipped not only with technical know-how but also with the vision to create meaningful work.

✍️ Through advanced writing skills, students learn to express ideas with clarity, organize their thoughts effectively, and write with purpose.

📊 And through methodological mastery, they gain the tools to design studies, analyze results, and discover solutions that make a difference.

We are truly grateful to our distinguished speakers who made this journey even more enriching:

Sir Jimmy P. Manigbas III, LPT, CRS, MAeD, for generously sharing his insights on the foundations of research writing and methodology, guiding students through each process with clarity and purpose.
