A tiny bit of progress so far — despite the setback.

Bagani: The Untold is still alive. It's a tactical RPG rooted in Philippine history and mythology — think Rizal, Bonifacio, Lapu-Lapu, aswangs, demigods — all woven into a fictional alternate timeline.

The main menu is coming together. The concept is inspired by the story of Pepe (Rizal) and his tsinelas — a quiet, meaningful detail that sets the tone for everything this game is about.

I knew game development is hard, but reality defied my expectations. I had to wear a lot of hats (Be in different roles at the same time) and learn everything. 3d object making, studying the game engine, and designing a game in paper, and more to come.

But despite it being really hard, it was fun as well. Overcoming the challenges and obstacles, the joy it brings just feels different, you'd never realize you already spent a lot of time creating.

So, follow my journey if you like. I'll be posting some dev-logs/updates from time to time.

Hello, Arpie here!

After a couple of weeks pondering, I decided to change the game concept of Bagani: The Untold.

Since I'm making a Filipino Game, instead of the typical Tactical RPG, I'd apply the once made in our country. Inspired with the board game "Games of the General" but with a twist. Instead of the typical square tile, I'll incorporate hex tile design.

But why stop there!!!

I'd be adding traps and blockages, allowing permanent or temporary hindering of movements. Removing the HP and MP will also be a good idea. Units is also recruitable and trainable, allowing ranking up.

I think I'll add mini games for sungka but also with twist.
