The Umbra is the darkest part of an eclipse, and it’s the exact space our latest Various Artists compilation inhabits. Featuring a powerhouse lineup of talent from Austria, Cuba, Mexico, and Spain, Umbra is a genre-bending journey of tension and release.

The record evolves seamlessly: it begins with the jazzy, deep-focus downtempo of Catatonique and the four-on-the-floor chill of Agamola. It then grinds into the dark, magical downtempo techno of Alacrán del Amor (an absolute banger tribute to Tepoztlán) and Caballero in Dab x Aldrone, before rising into peak-time Melodic House & Techno with ZENZS and Hita del Cid.

For the grand finale? Cuban producer Kierg shatters the stillness with “Blurred Reflections”, an uplifting, modern Liquid DnB closer that trades heavy darkness for pure, light-filled energy.
