The Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism - Bureau of Tourism organized a provincial campaign in the finalization stage of planning process in relation to the crafted Regional Tourism Development Plan for 2022-2031.

In view hereof, tourism officers of Banguingui were respectfully invited to participate in the Sulu Provincial Campaign on the Regional Tourism Development Plan that was conducted last June 23, 2022 in Notre Dame Walled City Business Complex, Jolo, Sulu.

" SULU TRAVELS:
A Mobile Application for Sulu Tourism "

Today marked the last day of the 3-day (March 3-5) WRITESHOP SEMINAR wherein 19 municipalities of Sulu were involved and was held at SSC Hostel and Ladies Dormitory, Jolo, Sulu.

On this day, each municipality was tasked to present their own outputs in front of the room. Afterwards, the web developer gave a seminar on how to operate the website. Lastly, everyone tested to upload their outputs online, just to see the outcome of what's going to be shown to the public very soon. The 3 representatives of Banguingui was able to finish the overall output for their very own part in the SULU TRAVELS website / application.

To the Governor Abdusakur Tan, Provincial Tourism Officer, Mr. Julkiram Arastam, and the Sulu State College President, Prof. Charisma Ututalum, thank you for successfully leading this innovative project.

The Office of the Governor, through the Provincial Tourism Office, partnered with the Sulu State College for a project called "SULU TRAVELS: A Mobile Application for Sulu Tourism". This mobile application will be designed to help boost the tourism industry in the province and shall become the medium for changing the perspectives of the people inside and outside of the province of Sulu.

Today marked the 1st day of the 3-day (March 3-5) WRITESHOP SEMINAR wherein 19 municipalities of Sulu were involved and was held at SSC Hostel and Ladies Dormitory, Jolo, Sulu.

On this first day, 3 representatives of Banguingui were lectured about Effective Writing and Travel Writing. Each municipality was tasked to formulate datas for the application under 3 designated agendas, namely: UNDERSTAND, GET-IN, and SEE. There are 6 of these agendas, but the formulation of datas for the other 3 will be continued on the 2nd day of the seminar.
