𝑴𝒂𝒓𝑺𝑼 – 𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒋𝒐𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒔 2𝒏𝒅 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒘𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍

Marinduque State University – Torrijos Campus successfully participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill initiated by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on June 19, 2025. The activity aimed to enhance disaster preparedness and safety awareness among students, faculty, and staff.

At exactly 9:00 AM, the official alarm signaled the start of the drill. Participants promptly executed the "𝘿𝙧𝙤𝙥, 𝘾𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙙" technique, followed by an organized evacuation to designated assembly areas. The drill tested the effectiveness of the campus’ emergency protocols and served as a refresher on proper responses during seismic events.

The initiative reinforced the importance of coordinated action during emergencies and contributed to building a culture of safety and resilience within the campus. Through this effort, MarSU–Torrijos affirms its strong support for national disaster preparedness campaigns and the protection of life during natural calamities.🍃
