Today marks the 2nd celebration of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, an event proclaimed by the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 in 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 2023, with a theme: "𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒍𝒍 – 𝑨𝒅𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔-𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕." This celebration reminds us of the beauty of humanity — how people look out for each other with 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐬 despite individual differences.💓

In a world where conflict is inevitable and chaos is everywhere, it is sometimes through the people we consider "strangers" that we can find peace and comfort through the care they provide. Care providers are a modern hero in our society, they are not just mending wounds they are also nurturing hope and reminding care recipients that they are never alone. 🫂

May we all uphold this year's theme by advocating for the rights of care providers and recipients, acknowledging that we are all entitled to an improved care system that prioritizes our welfare and observes inclusivity. Let us also promote better working conditions for caregivers by advocating for investments in accessible and sustainable care services for all. 🏥

May this celebration be a reminder to us to 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, to 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐲, and to 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐲. It is now our time to take care of the people who devoted their lives to take care of us. 🩷
