My takeaways on MAESTRA.

Ilan lamang ang mga lines na yan sa movie na MAESTRA.
- You are a teacher with or without license as long as you graduate, pero this movie shows na wag na wag kang susuko hanggat hindi mo nakukuha yung LISENSYA. I am waiting since March 2020 but until now di pa rin natutuloy ang LET sa NCR. Ms. Iah Seraspi proves na kahit gano kahirap ang buhay wag kang titigil na mangarap.
Kapag teacher ka likas na magooverwork ka especially when you dream something for the students and institution na belong ka. And I, myself is a living testament ng teacher na overwork because I want the best for our students. Kung inaakala nyo po na hanggang 5pm lang kami nagtatrabaho, nagkakamali po kayo. Most of the time we lack sleep dahil madaming paperworks, isama nyo pa po yung mga tulad ko na may lateral assignments. Stress is normal cause we never stop thinking, pero masaya kapag nakikita mo yung purpose ng ginagawa mo or naachieve mo na yung gusto mong magawa. Just a piece of advice learn to check your health status dahil sa sobrang workaholic natin ay nagreresult into health deterioration, right now napapaisip ako okay lang maging masipag pero kailangan ingatan yung sarili. Tunay nga na ang pagtuturo ay higit pa sa pagiging propesyon. Merong iba na umaakyat sa mga bundok, tumatawid sa mga ilog, naglalakd ng ilang oras mapuntahan lamang ang mga liblib na lugar para makapagturo; doon pa lang grabeng dedikasyon at pagmamahal sa propesyon at mga magaaral ang pinapakita. Hindi madali ang maging G**O.
Lastly, I am one of those teacher who views teaching as an art, I am not just teaching from the book but I am teaching something that will also motivate and inspire students. Sabi nga ng isang resource speaker sa seminar namin at ng isang teacher sa movie na maestra, "Hindi ka tunay na teacher kapag puro knowledge lang ang finifeed mo sa bata, Ang tunay na teacher ay yung kayang magcreate ng impact sa buhay ng kanyang mga studyante. A real teacher touch heart and soul of a learner aside from their mind. Maaaring makalimutan ng studyante ang mga tinuro natin mula sa libro, pero ang aral sa buhay, kabutihan, at pagiging ehemplo ay madadala nila sa kanilang mga lakbayin.
Sa mga nangangarap o gusto maging Teacher, hindi po tayo basta magtuturo lang dahil higit pa ron ang pagiging MAESTRO/MAESTRA and it needs a lot of courage and dedication to be in this field of so called NOBLE PROFESSION.
