Tatay Ruben is turning 78 in just a few months, and he continues to prove that age is never a barrier to chasing finish lines. Today, we received his registration for the 2026 BE Grand Bohol International Marathon: The Sandugo Run, Powered by GU Energy PH. After an impressive finish in the 21K last year, he’s setting his sights even higher by taking on the full marathon at BIM2026 – tattered shoes and all. Running doesn’t ask how old you are. It only asks if you’re ready to take the next step. Tatay Ruben’s journey is a reminder that passion, perseverance, and courage never grow old.
