𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔: 𝑨 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔

On this day, the MDCians gathered at the Activity Center to celebrate Teacher’s Day, a special occasion dedicated to our mentors who have inspired us and stood as our second parents throughout our journey.

The program opened with the introduction of each of our beloved teachers, followed by a fun segment where students impersonated the mentors and reenacted their most memorable lines that drew smiles and laughter. Then, the teachers surprised everyone with a dance performance in sleek white and black suits and outfits, looking very mysterious, which earned loud cheers from the crowd. The excitement then continued with games the teachers played which were both intense and thrilling.

Additionally, a friendly volleyball match between the teachers and students filled the Activity Center with cheers and excitement. Finally, the students presented the teachers with gifts and grocery items — small tokens of deep appreciation and love for our mentors.

It was truly a day filled with warmth and gratitude, a reminder of how much our teachers shape our lives.

Last September 19-20, banners were raised, whistles were blown, and cheers echoed as the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of Mater Dei College embarked on a Simultaneous GSP and BSP Encampment for school year 2025-2026. As the event progressed, the scouts showcased their preparedness in unexpected circumstances, resilience in hard challenges, and unity within their troops. Just like how the campfire burned despite the rain on the night of September 19, the MDCian scouts showed what it meant to be always prepared and to face hardships head on.

Last September 16, 2025, students gathered at the Activity Center for a day filled with love, gratitude, and celebration for our ever-supportive school principal, Dr. Jasmin M. Sumipo. 💐

Heartfelt messages and vibrant confetti rained down — each piece carrying a symbol of our care, respect, and appreciation for our loving principal. Happiest birthday, Cher! 🎉 May your days continue to be blessed with joy, good health, and boundless happiness. 💞

On this day, we celebrate the Nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mary — the humble maiden chosen by God to be the Mother of our Savior. Mary’s life is a stronghold of Faith, Purity and absolute surrendering to God’s will. She is our perfect example on how we should not only talk our faith, but also to walk by it.
