The new windshield on our vessels isn’t about looks – it’s about lowering wind resistance and boosting fuel efficiency. 💨🚢

Backed by a 2024 study from DNV Advisory, this upgrade alone can lead to around 1% in fuel savings.

It may seem like a small step, but in fleet operations, every bit counts on the path to greater efficiency. 🌱

As part of our Fleet Upgrade Program (FUP), the “Cochrane” was the first vessel to receive this retrofit during its yard stay in China in May.

Since then, “Antwerpen Express” and “Shanghai Express” have followed, with “Essen Express” and “Basle Express” next in line.

This retrofit is just one part of a broader strategy that also includes new propellers, high-performance hull coatings, and bulbous bows.

Together, these measures help reduce emissions and make our fleet more efficient. 🧡
