Tugaya (alternate spelling: Togaya) is a fifth class municipality in the province of Lanao del Sur, Philippines. This municipality is host to one of the highest concentrations of cultural bearers in the country. It was also in the tentative list of UNESCO's World heritage site as the home of Culture and heritage in the BARMM region.

The KONECT Program will bring together nine outstanding students from top universities across the Philippines, with Mahir being the sole participant from Mindanao. The program includes academic seminars, institutional visits to leading Korean universities, and cultural immersion activities designed to deepen understanding of Korea and Korea-Philippines relations.
