Topic: Remaining Strong in Christ
Jesus’ love for us conquers all. In fact, that is why Peter had a hard time understanding Jesus when he had told him that right before the rooster crowed, he would deny him three times (Luke 22: 61).
The Bible says that when three people saw him in the crowd, as Jesus was seized standing before the priests house, peter told them that he did not know Jesus but yet he did because he was his disciple. But when Jesus turned around and looked at Peter, that’s when he remembered and vv. 62 says that he went out crying bitterly.
As Christians, we are tried with so many trials by God to test our faith and how much we love our Heavenly Father. For us like Peter it hurts us to want to do something that will make us want to cry even though God knows we love him with all our hearts because we are His children but yet Jesus affirms us in 2 Timothy 3:12 that all who desire to live a godly life will be persecuted.
So what we can learn from this word of encouragement is that we should always remain strong in Christ by wearing the armor of God at all times.
