It is the same village, photographed from the same angle.

On the left, houses painted pink, sky blue, and yellow are packed tightly alongside a turquoise river in some Himalayan valley.

On the right, that same river has swallowed the streets, bridges, and much of the buildings, leaving behind only mud, debris, and the skeletons of the structures that withstood it.

A flash flood triggered by heavy rains in Nepal burst the riverbanks and swept away everything in its path within a matter of hours.

Where there had once been everyday life, parked cars, and people crossing the bridge, all that remains now is a river of brown mud devouring what had been home to hundreds of families. 🙏

🚨Kunal Chandgude was 18 years old and had an outstanding debt for the iPhone he had bought.

The argument with his parents escalated until the young man walked to Khavda Hill, near Tisgaon, in India’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, and threatened to jump. Firefighters and police arrived at the scene and spent nearly three hours trying to convince him to come down, while setting up a safety net in case the persuasion attempt failed.

Murlidhar Chandgude, 48, a driver and the family’s sole breadwinner, climbed up to restrain his son. During the struggle, both lost their balance and fell. Sangita, the mother, witnessed the fall from above and died shortly afterward. A debt that probably amounted to no more than a few hundred dollars ended up wiping out an entire family in a matter of minutes.

Isang malungkot at palaisipang pangyayari ang iniimbestigahan ngayon sa Camarines Sur matapos matagpuang wala nang buhay ang isang 15-anyos na dalagita.

Ang biktima ay kinilala sa mga lokal na ulat bilang Ruby Nagrampa Porteria, residente ng Barangay San Rafael, Tigaon, Camarines Sur. Sa naunang ulat ng mga awtoridad, itinago muna ang kanyang pagkakakilanlan sa alyas na “Rose.”

Ayon sa ulat, huling nakita si Ruby noong umaga ng Agosto 17, 2026, nang umalis siya sa bahay ng kanyang tiyahin. Nung hindi siya makauwi, inakala umano ng kanyang tiyahin na maaaring nakituloy lamang siya sa ibang kamag-anak dahil nakasanayan na raw ni Ruby ang bumisita o manatili sa mga relatives.

Makalipas ang apat na araw, noong Agosto 21, bandang 10:15 ng umaga, tatlong batang namimitas ng amora o mulberry ang nakadiskubre sa katawan ng isang dalagita sa isang lote sa Zone 3, Barangay Matacla, Goa, Camarines Sur… Kalaunan ay nakilala itong si Ruby.

Ayon sa Police Regional Office 5, nakatulong sa pagkakakilanlan ang kanyang mga natatanging marka, kabilang ang butterfly tattoo sa kanang braso at mga markang “OPG” at “RUBY” sa kaliwang braso.

Sa paunang external examination, wala umanong nakitang malinaw na blunt-force injury sa ulo o iba pang hayagang sugat sa katawan. Hindi rin kumpirmadong mvrder o hom!cide ang nangyari kay Ruby. Wala pa ring publicly confirmed na suspek o arrest sa impormasyong inilabas kaugnay ng kaso. Hinihintay pa ang final forensic findings upang matukoy ang eksaktong sanhi at paraan ng kanyang pagkamatay.

Patuloy ding inaalam ng mga awtoridad ang kanyang mga huling galaw at sinusuri ang available CCTV footage at mga pahayag ng posibleng nakakita sa kanya.

Marami tuloy ang tanong:
1. Ano ang nangyari kay Ruby mula Agosto 17 hanggang Agosto 21?
2. Nakarating ba siya sa kanyang pupuntahan?
3. Sino ang huling taong nakakita o nakasama sa kanya habang buhay?
4. At paano siya napunta sa lugar kung saan siya kalaunan natagpuan?

Sa ngayon, hintayin na lang natin ang resulta ng imbestigasyon at nawa'y magsilbing paalala ito sa ating mga magulang at guardians, na kahit sanay nang lumabas o makituloy sa kamag-anak ang isang teenager, minor pa rin sila. Hangga't maaari ay alamin natin kung nasaan sila, sino ang kasama nila at siguraduhing may communication tayo sa kanila. Hindi dahil wala tayong tiwala sa ating mga anak kundi dahil hindi natin kayang pagkatiwalaan ang lahat ng taong maaari nilang makasalamuha.

Ruby was only 15 years old. Sana sa pagpapatuloy ng imbestigasyon ay mabigyan ng malinaw na sagot ang kanyang pamilya kung ano talaga ang nangyari sa kanya. 😥💔

ORMOC CITY, Leyte — ‎Nasawi ang isang tanod matapos itong s*ks*kin ng kapwa tanod gamit ang isang kutsilyo sa Purok 5, Barangay Labrador, Ormoc City noong Biyernes ng gabi, Agosto 21.

Ayon sa impormasyon mula sa Ormoc City Police Station, ang suspek at ang live-in partner nito ay 35-anyos ang edad habang ang biktimang chief tanod ay 55-anyos.

Lumalabas na love triangle ang sanhi o motibo ng pananaks*k.

‎Kwento ng suspek sa mga awtoridad, susunduin na sana niya ang kanyang live-in partner sa kanilang bahay dahil may pupuntahan silang okasyon pero naabutan niya ang kanyang kapwa tanod at live-in partner na nagtatalik lumalabas na love triangle ang sanhi o motibo ng panan*ks*k.

‎‎Pero imbes na komprontahin niya ang mga ito, kumuha siya ng kutsilyo at pinagsasak sak ang mga ito.

Napuruhan ang chief tanod habang nasak sak naman sa dibdib ang live-in partner na ginagamot pa sa ngayon sa ospital.

‎Nakuha din ng mga awtoridad ang kutsi lyong ginamit sa pananaks@k.

‎Boluntaryong sumuko sa mga awtoridad ang suspek matapos ang kr!men at nasampahan ito ng kasong murder at frustrated murder.

Ayon sa ulat, kabilang umano sa listahan ang ilang kawani ng lokal na pamahalaan at maging ang kanilang mga asawa. Mayroon din umanong mga benepisyaryong gumagamit ng mga kotse at mamahaling motorsiklo, dahilan upang kuwestiyunin kung pasok pa sila sa itinakdang pamantayan para sa 4Ps.

SHE’S A DOCTOR… BUT POLICE SAY HER 10 M/O GRANDDAUGHTER SAT STRAPPED INSIDE HER HOT CAR FOR ABOUT 8 HOURS. 💔

That is the horrifying detail shaking Madisonville, Kentucky.

Dr. Stacey Fazenbaker reportedly picked up her 10-month-old granddaughter, Scottie Crowell, that morning.

She arrived at work around 8 a.m.

Scottie was supposed to be dropped off at daycare.

She never was.

And for nearly the ENTIRE WORKDAY…

the b4by allegedly remained secured in her car seat inside the vehicle.

It wasn’t until around 4 p.m. that Scottie’s father showed up at daycare to pick her up and was told:

“She was never dropped off.”

Imagine hearing that.

He called his wife.

Scottie’s mother called her own mother — the doctor who had Scottie that morning.

Dr. Fazenbaker reportedly ran outside to her vehicle…

And there was Scottie.

Still strapped in.

Unresponsive.

After roughly 8 HOURS. 💔

911 was called, but the 10- month-old b4by could not be saved.

And this is what makes the story almost impossible to process:

The woman police say accidentally left Scottie in that vehicle is a DOCTOR.

Someone trained in medicine.

Someone whose profession is centered around protecting health and preserving life.

Yet investigators are now trying to determine how a b4by could allegedly be forgotten inside a vehicle for an entire work shift.

Police performed a blood draw on Dr. Fazenbaker as part of the investigation, and when detectives finish their work, the case will be presented to a grand jury.

No final charging decision has been made.

But one question is now hanging over this devastated family:

How does a grandmother leave for work with her grandbaby in the back seat… and not realize she’s still there until 8 hours later? 💔
