𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠
𝗧𝘂𝗽𝗶, 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 – In a celebration of student innovation and academic rigor, the South East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. (SEAIT) successfully hosted the Student Research Forum on June 11, 2025, at the SEAIT Audio Visual Room. Organized by the Research Development and Extension Office, the event provided a platform for young researchers to present their scholarly work and exchange ideas across disciplines.
The day-long forum was divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon, each brimming with insightful research presentations and spirited academic discussions.
The forum officially opened with an encouraging welcome address from Clar Don L. Evangelio, MEqEng, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who emphasized the importance of research in shaping future professionals. Engr. John Paul S. Tamayo, the school president, followed with an inspiring message, urging student researchers to pursue knowledge with passion and integrity. Dr. Lina A. Mondejar, SEAIT’s Research Director, provided the forum guidelines, ensuring a smooth and transparent competition throughout the day.
A panel of esteemed evaluators, Shiela B. Roma, MPA; Dr. Susana V. Dorado; and Dr. Noemi B. Silva, lent their expertise in assessing each presentation, carefully reviewing the research quality, presentation skills, and poster designs.
𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚
The morning session showcased impressive studies from the College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT), the College of Engineering (CE), and the College of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF). The CICT dominated the awards, securing Best Paper, Best Presenter, and Best Poster, while CE and CAF earned recognition through consolation prizes and runners-up finishes for Best Paper.
𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚
The afternoon highlighted equally compelling research from the College of Teacher Education (CTE), the College of Business and Good Governance (CBGG), and the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE). The CTE stood out, sweeping top honors for Best Paper, Best Presenter, and Best Poster, while CBGG and CCJE also made notable placements as first and second runners-up, respectively.

The forum concluded with an awards and recognition ceremony, celebrating the dedication and hard work of all participants. Certificates of participation were awarded to all presenters, honoring their valuable contributions to SEAIT’s growing research community.
The event not only spotlighted the impressive talents of SEAIT students but also reinforced the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and research development.
