The Matutum View Academy Chorale honorably served during the opening program of the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference held at the South Cotabato Cultural Center & Gymnasium in Koronadal City.

With heartfelt harmony and reverence, the chorale beautifully rendered the Pambansang Awit, led the Invocation, and sang the Regional Hymn—filling the venue with dignity, unity, and inspiration. Their voices set a solemn and uplifting atmosphere as student journalists from across the region gathered to celebrate excellence in campus journalism.
This milestone performance reflects not only talent and dedication but also faith and gratitude.

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Matutum View Academy celebrated Student Teachers Week from November 17–21, 2025. Selected students from Grade 10 and Grade 12 stepped into the role of teachers as they led lessons, managed classes, and experienced the responsibilities of real educators.

Throughout the week, student-teachers prepared activities, shared presentations, and guided their classmates in various subjects, showing confidence, leadership, and creativity. Teachers provided support as mentors, making the experience meaningful and enjoyable.

The event highlighted students’ potential while deepening their appreciation for the teaching profession. Student Teachers Week 2025 successfully showcased learning, teamwork, and the spirit of service at Matutum View Academy.

The school celebrated English Day 2025 with activities that highlighted the importance of literacy, communication, and problem-solving skills. Guided by this year’s theme, students showcased their talents through speeches, stories, and creative presentations that reflected confidence and critical thinking.

The event emphasized how the English language helps strengthen expression, teamwork, and academic growth. With active participation from both teachers and students, the celebration became a meaningful reminder of the power of language in empowering young minds.

What an incredible experience it has been! For three vibrant days, our students proudly represented Matutum View Academy of SDA, Inc. in the Fun Fiesta sa Pilipinas, a celebration of Filipino culture, talent, and creativity. The event brought together students from across the region to showcase their gifts in choral competitions, Likhang Pinta, fashion design, short films, documentaries, ethnic dances, and song compositions — each activity reflecting the spirit of artistry and unity that makes our nation truly special.

Beyond the competitions, our students also enjoyed a one-day cultural and educational tour around the province of Isabela — discovering its breathtaking landmarks, rich heritage, and warm local traditions. From exploring historical sites to meeting new friends and appreciating the province’s beauty, every stop was a meaningful reminder of how blessed we are to call the Philippines our home.

The Fun Fiesta sa Pilipinas wasn’t just an event — it was a celebration of learning, teamwork, and pride in being Filipino. As we return home, we bring with us unforgettable memories, stronger friendships, and a deeper appreciation for our culture and identity. Truly, it was a Fun Fiesta to remember!

Matutum View Academy (MVA) once again proved its talent and excellence as it bagged multiple awards at the Fun Fiesta sa Pilipinas: 13th National Performing Arts Festival held on October 27–29, 2025, at the Roxas Arts, Culture, and Sports Complex in Roxas, Isabela Province.

Represented by 29 talented students and six dedicated faculty sponsors, MVA competed in Chorale, Ethnic Ensemble, Song Composition, Solo Kundiman, Short Film, and Documentary categories—showcasing creativity, teamwork, and passion for the arts.

MVA proudly brought home Champion in Solo Kundiman (Zean Heart Ancheta), 1st Runner-Up in Song Composition, Chorale, and Ethnic Ensemble, 2nd Runner-Up in Short Film, and 5th Runner-Up in Documentary.

With the guidance of Ma’am Virlyn Joy Tigley, Sir Neil Balajadia, Sir Joam Amaza, and Sir Gabriel Claveria, and the support of Ma’am Leilann Gerlie Marzo and Ma’am Jeraldaine Claveria, the MVA delegation truly made its mark — bringing home not just awards, but pride, joy, and inspiration to the entire MVA family.
