Nesthy Petecio clinches bronze in the women’s boxing 57kg division, bagging the Philippines' fourth medal in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The Tokyo Olympic silver medallist put up a valiant effort throughout but ultimately fell short via split decision in the semifinal bout against Polish boxer Julia Szeremeta.

The Davao native becomes the fourth double Olympic medalist of the Philippines, joining the likes of Teófilo Yldefonso, Hidilyn Diaz, and Carlos Yulo.
