Joining them in this monumental feat are two other proud Filipinos Sir ๐—ฅ๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฅ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ and the late ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐—ฟ ๐—ฃ๐— ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ผ ๐—œ๐—œ, whose unwavering spirit lives on in this triumph. Sir PJ may not have reached the summit, but he gave everything for this dream with love, courage, and pride for the Philippines.

This climb was never just for them it was for all Filipinos. To show that we can dream big, rise higher, and endure together.

Our very own Ric Rabe has safely returned to base camp after successfully summiting Mount Everest on May 15โ€”joining the ranks of a proud few Filipinos who have reached the top of the world!

At 51 years old, Ric pushed through exhaustion, extreme altitude, and dangerous weather. He had originally planned a rare double summit of Everest and Lhotse, but fierce winds and whiteout conditions forced him to skip Lhotse. Still, he made it to the summit of Everest and reached Camp 3 without supplemental oxygenโ€”an incredible feat at any age.

he shared a quick, honest message:
> "I'm back in base camp just now. I have sunburn eyes. Climbing down with closed eyesโ€”haha. We were caught in a windstorm, 80+ kph. I nearly fell on the Chinese side of the border. Bad weather hampered me to move to Camp 4 Lhotse, but I was able to climb to Camp 3 without oxygen."
