The Site Coordinating Team of Kabankalan City conducted the ceremonial turnover of the Peace and Development Community (PDC) Integrated School to its new Teacher-in-Charge, Mr. Wenceslao Pineda, Jr. The official announcement was made during the 2nd Quarter Meeting held on June 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the DepEd Division Building.

The meeting was facilitated by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU), led by Ms. Jennifer April Casalem, and presided over by EnP Susana M. Casalem, City Planning and Development Coordinator.

Schools Division Superintendent Ferdinand Sy opened the session with a welcome message, reaffirming DepEdโ€™s continued support for peace and development efforts. A message of support was also delivered by Mr. Jose Novo Dagunan on behalf of City Mayor Benjie Miranda.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders and partner agencies who shared updates on ongoing programs, accomplishments, and future plans. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration in sustaining peace, building resilient communities, and promoting inclusive development in Kabankalan City.

Mayor Benjie Miranda led the Pledge of Commitment for the Integrated Drug Abuse Data and Information Technology (IDADAIT), emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration in maintaining peace and order and intensifying efforts against illegal drugs in the city.

The pronouncement was made during the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), held on June 26, 2025, at the Session Hall, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Benjie Miranda.

The meeting was attended by key city officials and council members, including City Administrator Atty. Mac Lord Zafra, Sangguniang Panlungsod Member Joestar Bandojo, ABC President Rico Regalia, and CPOC/CADAC Head Secretariat Maria Fatima Daiz.

Key agenda items discussed included:

โ€ข Progress of the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program
