Let the big kids be kids.

If a teenager shows up at your door this Halloween, dressed up (or maybe not), holding out a pillowcase for candy—smile and hand them some.

Because here’s the truth:
They could be anywhere else.
But they’re choosing to do something sweet, silly, and innocent.

They’re choosing childhood for one more night.
They’re choosing wonder instead of trouble.
They’re choosing safety over risk.

And isn’t that exactly what we want for them?

Teens get pushed to grow up so fast—grades, sports, jobs, social pressure, big feelings, big choices. But on Halloween, they get permission to just be kids again.

So if those taller ghosts and princesses show up at your porch—
Celebrate that they’re still holding onto their childhood. And toss a few extra treats in their bag.

Let them have their candy.
Let them have their fun.
Let them stay little—just a little longer.

Mag ina nadaanan naglalakad sa ulan habang umiiyak.🥹

Epekto na kahirapan sa isang relasyon:
Mahal kita, pero parang hindi na tayo masaya.
Hindi dahil kulang ang pagmamahal, kundi dahil sobra
ang bigat ng pinapasan nating dalawa.

Tuwing gabi, pagod ka sa trabaho. Pagod din ako sa bahay.
Pero sa kabila ng pagod, mas pinipili pa nating magtalo kaysa magyakapan. Hindi dahil gusto nating saktan ang isa’t isa,
kundi dahil sa sobrang bigat ng iniintindi natin—pambayad sa kuryente, gatas ng anak, renta, pagkain, utang.

Lahat sabay-sabay. Lahat mabigat.
Minsan naiisip ko, kailan kaya tayo makakahinga nang maluwag?Kailan kaya darating ‘yung araw na hindi na natin kailangang
magtipid kahit sa bigas?
Na hindi na tayo kailangang magpigil ng luha para sa mga batang walang kamalay-malay sa paghihirap natin?

Alam kong nasasaktan ka kapag wala kang maibigay. Gano’n din ako.
Pero sana malaman mo na hindi kita minahal dahil sa kakayahan mong magtaguyod.
Minahal kita dahil alam kong kahit kapos tayo, buo tayo.
