"Araw ng mga Lolo at Lola at May-Edad 2025"

Sa gitna ng kalamidad na dulot ng bagyo
Ipagdiwang pa rin ang pagiging Lola at Lolo
Mga may-edad na dito sa ating mundo
Biyaya ang makarating sa gulang na ganito

Maraming mga pamilya na nawalan ng anak
Kaya di na kayang maging Lolo o Lolang hangad

Maaari din namang hindi na kayang mag-anak
Iba't ibang dahilan at marahil ay di nga palad

Sabi ng maraming naging Lolo at Lola
Iba ang saya o kaya ay bigay na sigla
Tila ba mas nais mong maging malusog pa
Buhay ay humaba para paglaki ay nakita

Mas palagi daw iniisip ng mga Lolo at Lola
Anong pasalubong ang ibibigay tuwina
O kung sa bahay naman ay sadyang kasama
Palaging ipinapakita ang tunay na pag-aalaala

Kanikaniya ang karanasan sa mga apo
Mahalaga na lamang ay naabot ang edad na ito
Marami ang lumilisang di naranasan ito
Kaya sadyang kay palad kung magka-apo

Kaya naman sa mga apong minahal ng sobra
Sabi nga ang turing ay higit sa anak pa
Kung lumaki na kayo at sila ay mahina na
Huwag kalimutang bisitahin kahit pa abala

Marami rin na mapupulot na mga leksyon
Na makukuha ng mga apo sa diskusyon
Bigyan silang oras at laanan ng panahon
Sabi nga ay wag ng palampasin ang pagkakataon

Dahil sa huli ang pinakamagandang maibibigay
Ay ang oras na mailalaan lalo kung abalang tunay

Bukod pa sa panalanging madagdagan ang buhay

Kasama na rin ang patuloy na ang Diyos sa kanila ang pumatnubay
