JMC Finds :📍BAKLE
-A traditional post-harvest thanksgiving celebration. Bakle or binkale is a steamed rice cake wrapped in banana leaves. It has been a vital part of our culture.
If you want to try how “bakle” of kiangan tastes, hop on a ride going to nagacadan where the celebration will be done.❤️

BAKLE AD NAGACADAN: A thanksgiving festival after rice harvest.
AUGUST 2, 2025 (Saturday)||8 AM @ Indutmug, Nagacadan, Ifugao.

Bakle is a celebration observed during the months of July, August, and early part of September when harvest of rice is over. It as an act of giving thanks to maknongan (gods of the skyworld) for a bountiful harvest and in anticipation of the same for the next harvest season.

Come and join us witness this festive occasion.
