Napaka stressful mag stay sa hospital. Lalo na sa public hospitals. Daming casualties ng kahirapan.

🟣 Hemorrhoids and a**l fissures can both cause pain and bright red bleeding, so people often confuse them. The main difference is that hemorrhoids are swollen veins, while an a**l fissure is a small tear in the a**l lining.

🟣 Hemorrhoids (piles)
➟ Swollen blood vessels inside or around the a**s
→ Commonly linked with straining, constipation, pregnancy, or long time on the toilet.

➟ Pain is often mild or may be absent, especially with internal hemorrhoids
→ Common symptoms include itching, swelling, discomfort, mucus discharge, a soft lump, or bright red bleeding after passing stool. Severe pain can happen if an external hemorrhoid becomes thrombosed.

🟣 A**l fissure
➟ A small tear in the thin lining of the a**s
→ Usually triggered by hard stools, constipation, or straining.

➟ Pain is usually sharp and severe, especially during and after passing stool
→ Bleeding is usually bright red, and many people feel burning or spasm-like pain that can last for minutes to hours after a bowel movement.

🟣 Simple way to tell the difference
➟ Hemorrhoids: more likely to cause itching, swelling, a lump, or painless/milder bleeding
➟ A**l fissure: more likely to cause a small tear with intense pain when passing stool.

🟣 Important note
➟ Re**al bleeding should not be self-diagnosed
→ Not all bleeding is from hemorrhoids or fissures. Persistent bleeding, severe pain, fever, weight loss, or change in bowel habits should be checked by a doctor.

🟣 Medical disclaimer
→ This note is for general education only and not a diagnosis. If you have re**al bleeding, severe a**l pain, or a lump, please consult a qualified doctor for proper evaluation.
