ReelOne

ReelOne A home for storytellers. ReelOne is a production house rooted in Aklan, built with the vision of uplifting voices through the power of cinema.

We believe that stories, no matter how big or small, carry the ability to move people, spark conversations, and preserve the culture of our communities. At ReelOne, we work with filmmakers of all kinds—seasoned artists and emerging storytellers alike—offering a creative home where ideas are nurtured and films are brought to life. More than just a studio, we are a collective of dreamers and doers w

ho share the same passion for the moving image. From the shores of our hometown to screens near and far, our goal is to help shape stories that resonate with honesty, imagination, and soul. Every frame is a testament to the voices we serve, and every film is a step toward a cinema that reflects who we are. ReelOne is not just about making films—it is about building a community where storytellers find belonging, and where stories continue to inspire long after the credits roll.

TABI, PUMUTOK NA ANG TUBIG NI JUDITH! 💦

Due Date na ni Judith, a short film directed by CMS alumnus Kieth Earl Rebaño, is one of the official entries to the 8th Sine Kabataan Short Film Festival organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). Now in its 8th year, the festival remains as a platform for young Filipino filmmakers to tell original and compelling stories in celebration of the Philippine Film Industry Month.

Premiering yesterday, the short film follows Judith whose routine pregnancy check-up spirals into the surreal.

For Rebaño, the film is deeply personal. It draws inspiration from his childhood experiences of how debt and financial struggles heavily affected his mother and their family. He views debt and due dates as universal—silent burdens that many carry, but ones that eventually must be faced.

Due Date na ni Judith will be screened for free this September 05-07, at the Red Carpet Cinema 1, Shangri-la Plaza, Mandaluyong City. Audiences may still catch the film during these schedules:

September 6 (Saturday)
1:30 - 4:30 PM - Sine Kabataan Screening
4:30 - 5:50 PM - Talkback Session
6:00 - 9:00 PM - Sine Kabataan Screening

September 7 (Sunday)
1:30 - 4:30 PM - Sine Kabataan Screening
6:00 - 9:00 PM - Sine Kabataan Screening

You may also follow the official pages of Due Date na ni Judith and Sine Kabataan - FDCP for more updates regarding additional screening information.

Samahan na natin si Judith manganak upang malaman na hindi lamang panubigan ang puputok! 😜
