โ๐๐ฉ๐ข ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ | ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ โ The Kabataang Upians came together for the Tri-People Youth Summit, an event that served as a platform for cultural appreciation, youth empowerment, and the strengthening of unity among students from various schools representing the Teduray, Moro, and Settler communities.

โThe program opened with a vibrant entrance showcasing the traditional attires of the Teduray, Moro, and Settler groups, symbolizing the cultural harmony that characterizes the municipality of Upi.

โIn his message, Dr. Alimudin C. Belon, Officer-in-Charge of the Upi Agricultural School, through Mr. Romulino A. Atenorio, emphasized that unity begins with understanding and respect. He highlighted that Upi is known as a haven for empowered tri-people who thrive on justice, compassion, and diversity. He urged the youth to embrace their differences, reminding them that diversity is not a barrier but a source of strength.

โMoreover, the event highlighted the talk show titled โTriVoices: Kabataang Upians Connect,โ anchored on the theme โBuilding Bridges: Understanding Our Shared Identity.โ The session gathered inspiring youth advocates who shared insights on inclusivity, leadership, and inter-community collaboration. Guest speakers included Ms. Christine Joy B. Tamao, Teduray-born SK Federation President; Hon. Datu Jamshid Mashruk A. Sinsuat, Upi Municipal Councilor; and Mr. Jeffrey Allen M. Paclibar, MPA, Senior Labor and Employment Officer. They shared their experiences and perspectives on how young people can become catalysts for lasting peace and community progress.

โThe Tri-People Youth Summit concluded with a question-and-answer portion and the giving of prizes, followed by a small banquet and photo opportunities with the participants, capping the event with camaraderie and shared purpose.
