โ๐๐ฉ๐ข ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ | ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ โ Two Hundred Twenty Eight (228) college students successfully graduated from the Upi Agricultural School (UAS) at its 44th Commencement Exercises with a theme, โGeneration of Unity: Pillar of Moral Governance toward a Prosperous and Peaceful Bangsamoro.โ

โAmong the graduates, eighty (80) earned degrees in Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), ninety (90) from Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd), and ten (10) Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) major in crop and animal science. Additionally, there are forty-eight (48) students received Certificates in Agricultural Science.

โThe program began with an interfaith service that brought together the Tri-People groups. Ustadz Fahad N. Lagasi, ISAL Teacher, CCNHS for Moro, Mr. Janito M. Rabelo, Chief of Staff, Office of MP Piang for the Tรฉduray, and Rev. Gerald C. Agway, Rector of St. Francis Episcopal Parish Church, for the Christian Settlers. Their messages emphasized the importance of strong faith in God, and the values of unity and peace that connects all the Bangsamoro people regardless of their religion.

โIt was then followed by the tribute paid by the graduates to their parents, expressing heartfelt thanks for their love, support, and sacrifices throughout their academic journey. They offered tokens of gratitude and warm embrace while singing โWe Made it Throughโ as their tribute song.

โMaโam Rodith R. Udas, MSciEd, Head of the College Department presented the 228 candidates for graduation to Mr. Marjuni M. Madi, Director General, Higher Education through Aisah M. Salem, MPA,
โSenior Education Program Specialist โMBHTE Higher Education then officially conferred their degrees. After the presentation and conferment of degrees, all diplomas, certificates, and medals were distributed and awarded to the graduates.

โIn the commencement address, Hon. Guiamal B. Abdulrahman, Minister of Indigenous Peoplesโ Affairs, Batch 1995 Alumnus, Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (BAT) was represented by Dr. Judith G. Tinio, Director General of the Ministry of the Indigenous Peoplesโ Affairs. She warmly congratulates the graduates as well as the proud parents, and the instructors of the institution. On her message, she emphasizes that their achievement was not only because of themselves alone, but also the hard works of the people around them, specifically their parents, and she reminded them to always give gratitude to their them. Additionally, she challenged them to face a big responsibility to bridge gaps and build connection to all people regardless of their religion to have unity and a peaceful Bangsamoro.

โMs. Erika Rose T. Bacalan, Cum Laude BEEd graduate, delivered her heartfelt thank you message. She expressed her gratitude to her teachers, parents, fellow graduates, friends, organizations, and to the institution. She acknowledged her journey as a college student, including her achievements, struggles, and how those help her to pursue her dreams and being able to stand in front of her fellow graduates, she also thank all the people who had help her all throughout her journey. She then emphasizes that the BEEd, BTLEd, and BSA Programs are not weak, but they are essential to the community.

โThe graduates sang their graduation song, โWe Riseโ by Gerald Magbanua. It was then followed by the Pledge of Loyalty to their Alma Mater led by Ms. Norjana D. Ulama, from BTLEd-HE. Maโam Maria Lourdes S. Unsaid, President of UAS Alumni Association, Inc., then led the Induction of graduates into the UAS Alumni Association, Inc. and closing the program with the singing of โUpi the Lovelyโ, and the Recessional of the Guests and Faculty and Staff.
