โ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ | ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐, ๐๐๐๐ - The Upi Agricultural School (UAS), under the leadership of Engr. Sukarno B. Datukan, Ph.D., Vocational School Administrator II, held its 2025 Stakeholders Forum to discuss key developments, accomplishments, and plans concerning the schoolโs progress in recent years.

โThe event opened with a welcoming message from Ma'am Felisa C. Garrigues, who warmly greeted stakeholders from Barangays Nuro, Mirab, Blensong,and Sefegefen, as well as invited guests. She expressed her deep gratitude for their presence and participation in the forum.

โFollowing the opening remarks, Sir John Michael M. Ibrahim, Supply Officer, explained the rationale behind the forum, emphasizing its role in fostering transparency and collaboration among stakeholders.

โA series of presentations then highlighted UASโs achievements and ongoing initiatives. Egnr. Datukan presented the schoolโs accomplishments, focusing on institutional scholarships, sustainable school projects, and infrastructure development. Sir Abdilnasser R. Sulaiman, Head of the Farm Management and Production Department, discussed the policy on land utilization for residential and agricultural purposes. Dr. Nympha D. Sapan, Head of the College Department, introduced the Diploma in Agricultural Technology (DAT) program, aimed at expanding educational opportunities for students.

โHon. Melanio Ulama, Minister of the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples' Affairs (MIPA), commended UAS for its resilience and growth despite past challenges. He urged all stakeholders to treat one another with fairness, regardless of tribal affiliation, and to prioritize education as a crucial tool in developing individuals who are skilled, knowledgeable, and value-driven.

โAn open forum moderated by Ma' am Sapan allowed participants to share insights, ask questions, and provide suggestions regarding the presentations.

โMoreover,stakeholders from four barangays and offices expressed their appreciation for UASโs continued supportโparticularly for allowing the use of school land for housing, workspaces, and infrastructure development. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting UAS in its future endeavors.

โThe forum concluded with a message from Sir Alimudin C. Belon, MS, TVI Focal, who thanked the stakeholders for their unwavering support and active participation. He expressed optimism that UAS will continue to offer more scholarship opportunities, improve its facilities, produce competitive graduates, and eventually transition into a college or university.
