«When the Holiday Becomes a Hospital Stay«

Last Monday, September 28, 2026, the Philippines celebrated Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day — National Family Day.

Our Dada Jdl spent it in the hospital and came home today after a 3-day stay. He has no watcher. No one to tend to his needs, no one to even cheer him up. Today, he was assisted by his co-tchrs to process the billing so he can go home, - for I cannot, bringing a child is strictly forbidden, i have 3! We thank God for the wonderful ppl He sent to aid us in our dire season. He managed to process his hospital bills by the help of his workmates, God gave people who'll help us in every detail of it. What a sweet and loving God!

It’s just so thoughtful — even when he was sick and needed to be taken care of, his mind wandered back home, to his family, to his children. And despite everything, he still came home bringing special bread for us. That’s who he is. Always thinking of us, even when he’s the one who needs care. (So, it really matters who you marry! 😉)

Thank you always for all your love and sacrifice, Dada! We love you so! Above all, thank you, Abba, for the strength, and yes, trials that strengthens us every single day 🥰 -MaMich, Jezr, Zuri, Aza
