"Lord, thank you for not giving up on me."

Shame has a way of convincing us that we’ve gone too far to be welcomed back. When we’re caught in the tangle of our mistakes, we hide, burdened by the whispers: ‘You are a hopeless case. You’re too broken to be fixed.’
But the Good Shepherd doesn’t give up so easily. He leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one that strayed. He keeps walking, calling, searching until the lost is found.
And when He finally finds the sheep, He doesn’t scold. He doesn’t drive it back with anger. Instead, He lifts it onto His shoulders with joy.
Jesus said, "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep."
Luke 15:4–6
This is the heart of God. A love that pursues. A love that restores. A love that rejoices when you come home. And maybe today, that’s exactly what He’s doing for you. Maybe this is His gentle call, reminding you that no matter how far you’ve wandered, His arms are always open. His shoulders are always strong enough to carry you.
All He asks is just one thing:
that you let yourself be found.
