School Paper Advisers of Valladolid Elementary School Official School Publication in English and Filipino take part in the 2025 Regional Capacity Building of School Paper Advisers, held on April 22-25 at Paradise Garden Hotel and Convention Center, Boracay, Aklan.

VES' PENS Advisers Emely G. Dalen and Ramelia V. Duyungan and Panulat Advisers Julie Mae P. Tumangan and Rhoe T. Capangyarihan travelled almost 13 hours to participate in the convention initiated by Regional Office VI; aimed to capacitate the journalism skills of school paper advisers across the region and to prepare the qualifiers in the upcoming National Schools Press Conference that will be held in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur next month.

Renowned trainers with wide and extensive experiences and background in journalism teamed up to upskill and equip teachers with necessary skills needed to publish reliable and relevant school paper.

In the recently concluded 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 & 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐖 2024 held at Acacia Hotel Bacolod on February 24, 2025, VES Teacher 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗲 𝗧. 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻
received awards in 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

The Division of Excellence and Pagdayaw 2024 is a yearly event that aims to " recognize outstanding officials and employees, and organizational units of the Schools Division of Office of Negros Occidental on the different awards and categories; and to recognize SDO-Based employee who has served continuously and very satisfactorily for 10-45 years in service".

In his Facebook post, Capangyarihan extends gratitude to all VES teachers and the entire District of Valladolid for their unwavering support and encouragement.
