Where There is No Vision, the People Perish. What Can You See?

Why Do Some Christians not serve God or study the Bible? Bec. they don't see the value of it.

How To Have Victory Over The
" FLESH."
A. Identify Your Enemy.
1. When the Bible speaks of the "flesh" in the context of opposition to you, it is not referring to your literal body---- but to old sin nature, the "old man," the corrupt nature which belong to all men.
a. 2 Peter 1:4b, when you were saved, you were made a partaker of the divine nature. However, the old sin nature was NOT removed.
b. In the flesh(your old nature) dwelleth no good things.
Romans 7:18.
2. As a Christians, you BTWO NATURES—--the flesh and the spirit ---the old and the new---the sinful and the divine .

B. Understand Your Enemy.
How does the "flesh" attack the Christian?
It produces CONFLICT and inner turmoil. It cooperate with the world and the Devil.
1. Romans 7:21
2. Galatians 5:17

C. Realize God's Provision For Your Victory.
1. Romans 7:24.
2. Romans 7:25a.

D.Ttanslate Christ's Victory Into Your Own Experience.
1. Galatians 5:16- walk in the Spirit.

Faith.,
3. Romans 13:14.
This verse teaches you to "blockade the flesh" - - don't
feed it.
4. Recignize your position in
Christ.
a. My old nature (flesh) has been crucified - Galatians 5:24.
b. Galatians 2:20.
c. Romans 6:6.

This is a fact. Your old Adamic nature was dealt a death blow when it was crucified with Christ--
but crucifixionis a slow and painful death, and what you experience in
the inner conflict is a doomed enemy still trying to raise its ugly head and control your life.
5. Reckon this fact into reality each day of your life.-Romans 6:11.

How To Have Victory Over The
"WORLD".
D. Translate Christ's Victory Into Your Own Experience.
It's all very well to see that the Lord Jesus won the victory over the world, but you and I need to appropriate this victory into our own lives so that we too can be overcomers.
Here's how :
1. Acknowledge you are own the victory side.
a. 1John 5:5
2. Claim your Victory by FAITH.
a. 1 John 5:4
b. What is Faith? Faith is simply believing what God says in His Word and acting upon it--total reliance upon God.
3. Do the will of God always.
1 John 2:17.
4. Set your affection on heavenly things.
If we think about worldly things, wrong things, etc., we will be easily enticed.
a. Colossians 3:1
b. Colossians 3:2
c. Matthew 6:21.

- VICTORY -
Intro. The greatest single need in the lives of the majority of Christian
is that of VICTORY! Not simply a victory here and there, but the experiencing of consistent, daily, victorious living. Sadly, so many believers are living defeated lives.
Ask yourselves this question-"Am I
victoriously?" Please be honest with yourself before God.
If you are deafeted, or if your life consists of a roller coaster path of spiritual"ups and downs, "this lesson will be of immense value to you. But studying it will not be enough-it must be applied!

I. Does God Want His Children To Have Victory?
A. John 10:10.
Our Lord wants us to have Abundant life.
B. Psalm 16:11.
Our Lord intends is to experience Fulness of Joy.
C. John 8:31,32
Our Lord intends the truth (His Word) not only to make us disciples (Salvation), but also to MAKE us FREE.
This freedom from sin does not mean the absence of sin-but as
Romans 6:14 says, freedom from the power of sin.
D. Does God want us to experience a life of victory? Yes!
1 Corinthians 15:57.
II. Steps to Victory in Your Life.
A. To enable you to enjoy the victorious life the following steps, need to be understood.
1. Identity Your Enemy.
2. Understand Your Enemy
3. Realize God's Provision for
Victory.
4. Translate Victory into your own Experience.
Result :" VICTORY"
B. The Bible teaches there are THREE enemies we will face as a child of God - each seeking to rob us of the of the Lord.
