Ramonians gathered at the Villasis Gymnasium on March 7 to witness the screening of "Playlist," a film project by the Don Ramon E. Costales Memorial National High School (DRECMNHS) IT Club, as part of the school's 63rd founding anniversary celebration.

Directed by Edward Patrick Mortera, the DRECMNHS IT Club Adviser, "Playlist" follows the success of "Soon," a multi-awarded film that was screened last year at SM City Rosales.

The IT Club, which started with documentaries and short films published online and shown in the school's social hall, continues to expand its reach by bringing its work to a wider audience.

Eljhonrey Jemuel Dasalla and Arianne Jamelia Dejos claimed the crowns as Mr. and Ms. DRECMNHS 2025 at the Villasis Public Auditorium.

Candidates graced the stage and competed in various categories, including Mr. and Ms. Congeniality, Mr. and Ms. Photogenic, the People's Choice Award, and Best in Production Attire, Shorts Attire, and Formal Attire/Evening Gown.

VILLASIS, PANGASINAN โ€“ Students of Don Ramon E. Costales Memorial National High School (DRECMNHS) showcased their energy and talent in the Line Dance Mass Field Demonstration Competition at the Villasis Activity Center as part of the school's 63rd Founding Anniversary celebration.

Grades 7 to 9 competed in the Zumba Line Dance category, while Grades 10 to 12 vied for the Hip-hop Line Dance championship.
Opening the event, the DRECMNHS Drum and Lyre Corps delivered an exhilarating exhibition performance, followed by speeches from dignitaries highlighting the significance of school unity and spirit.

In the Zumba Line Dance category, Grade 8 Growling Tigers claimed the championship, followed by Grade 9 Mighty Heroes in second place and Grade 7 Raging Hornets in third. Meanwhile, in the Hip-hop Line Dance category, the Grade 10 Sparkling Jewels triumph as champions, with Grade 12 Maroon Falcons securing second place in a close fight, and Grade 11 Pink Panthers finishing third.

The competition brings together students in a vibrant display of talent and camaraderie, making the anniversary celebration even more memorable.

Following the conclusion of the school's Intramurals, the tournament features Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

The initiative highlights how online gaming can enhance students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills while promoting the responsible use of these platforms.
