𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘-𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗔𝗭𝗔𝗔𝗥 offered goods to the public at the Virac boulevard at the back of the municipal hall last week as part of the celebration of the International Youth Day and Linggo ng Kabataan. EVERY YEAR, something magical happens on one of the beaches on the southern coast of Catanduanes.

With the sun yet to rise on a recent Thursday, people from all walks of life went out of their way to gather at Tampad beach in Talisoy just to witness nature in action: the hatch and release of hundreds of baby sea turtles.

It is saddening that almost every month we heard news or saw a video on Facebook that a vehicular accident occurred in our dear province. These vehicular accidents are not only happening in mainland Virac, but in all the eleven (11) municipalities of Catanduanes. Although the top culprit for these mishaps to transpire is drunk reckless driving, a close second is distracted driving.
