On the bright and hopeful morning of April 25, 2025, the Fr. Aloysius Chang Gymnasium was filled with excitement and pride as proud parents, dedicated teachers, and honored guests gathered to celebrate a significant student milestone. The event was not only a recognition of academic achievements but also a tribute to the hard work, growth, and resilience of our students.

As the procession began, all eyes turned to the graduates, who entered the hall wearing elegant white togas. Their graceful steps and radiant expressions reflected not only their accomplishments but also the bright future that awaits them beyond this unforgettable day. The ceremony began with a welcoming message from a Grade 6 student with high honors. This was followed by the presentation of completers and Chinese graduates by Ms. Ebenlyn M. Fabian, the Lead Coordinator, and the acceptance of completers and Chinese graduates by Rev. Fr. Sergio T. Dela Noche Jr., the School Director.

After the acceptance, Chinese diplomas were distributed by Rev. Fr. Sergio T. Dela Noche Jr. and Ms. Ebenlyn M. Fabian. Each name called represented a story of a young individual who had grown academically, emotionally, and socially. Steve Lionel Martin R. Li, a Grade 6 student with Highest Honor, and Edana A. Javier, a Grade 10 student, with Highest Honor, both delivered their Chinese commencement addresses, encouraging graduates and completers to uphold the principles of diligence, respect, and perseverance.

Following this, the long-anticipated distribution of English diplomas took place, as graduates walked proudly across the stage to receive their diplomas in the presence of friends, family, and faculty. Furthermore, Daennah Alexa S. Dumape, a Grade 10 student with Highest Honor, delivered her English commencement address that resonated throughout the gymnasiumโ€”messages filled with hope, resilience, and growth. This was followed by the English Graduation Song, a tribute to years of hard work and shared memories.

The ceremony continued with the distribution of Chinese and English academic awards, honoring outstanding achievements across various disciplines. Special awards were also given, recognizing exceptional leadership and personal excellence. A touching moment was the distribution of Special Citation Awards for Faculty and Staff, honoring their unwavering dedication, mentorship, and lasting contributions to the institution and student success.

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt closing remarks from Rev. Fr. Sergio T. Dela Noche Jr., who expressed gratitude and extended best wishes for the graduatesโ€™ and completersโ€™ futures. Afterwards came the singing of the Chinese and English Alma Mater Songsโ€”a tribute to the school that shaped their journey and a reminder that, no matter where life takes them, they will always share one alma mater.

This ceremony was not just a formal rite of passage; it was a celebration of perseverance, growth, and success. This is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of something amazing that lies ahead. Congratulations, Graduates and Completers.

An offering of gratitude, hope, and faith

On the calm morning of April 23, 2025, the graduating students of Saint Joseph School Foundation, Inc. gathered at the heart of the parish communityโ€”the St. Joseph Parish Churchโ€”for their long-awaited Baccalaureate Mass. This sacred celebration marked a meaningful farewell to their academic journey and a spiritual blessing for the path that lies ahead.

Presided over by Rev. Fr. Sergio T. Dela Noche Jr., School Director, the Mass brought together students from the elementary, junior high school, and senior high school departments, each clad in their respective togasโ€”without capsโ€”as a symbol of humility and readiness to move forward in faith.

The liturgical roles were carried out with reverence under the guidance of Sr. Vanessa, whose support ensured the grace and clarity of every word spoken during the Mass.

The celebration was further uplifted by the quiet dedication of the Altar Servers and Liturgy Team, coordinated by Sir Lou Joshua, and the beautiful hymns rendered by the SJSFI Glee Club, under the direction of Sir Marco.

This Mass was more than a traditionโ€”it was a final moment of stillness before the storm of change, a time for reflection, thanksgiving, and trust in what lies ahead. It reminded every student that behind every academic success is a journey of grace, sacrifice, and community.

As the Class of 2025 prepares to leave the walls of Saint Joseph School Foundation, may they carry with them not only the knowledge theyโ€™ve gained but the values that shaped them. May their hearts remain anchored in faith, and may they always walk with purpose, integrity, and light.

Congratulations, graduates! Your Josephean family is proud of you. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’™

On March 29, the vibrant spirit of tradition met the heart of service as the SJSFI Lion Dance Troupe brought not just good fortune, but also generosity and joy to the community of Sta. Maria.

Held at Our Lady of Purification Parish, the event highlighted more than just the grace and energy of the lion danceโ€”it became a celebration of community spirit and compassion. Alongside their captivating performance, the troupe initiated a Donation Drive and Feeding Program, distributing extra clothes, school supplies, meals, and smiles to the local residents.

This heartfelt mission was made possible by the unwavering support of the SJSFI community, who contributed to the success of the drive, and the welcoming arms of the parish.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Rev. Fr. Armand B. Aquino and Our Lady of Purification Parish for graciously accommodating the event, and to Rev. Fr. Sergio T. Dela Noche Jr. for supporting this initiative.

Special thanks to Mr. Marlon Jacob, Laoshi Lynne Fabian, and Ma'am Shirley Victoria for guiding and preparing the lion dancers in both performance and purpose.

Through rhythm, movement, and giving hearts, the SJSFI Lion Dance Troupe roared not just for traditionโ€”but for hope, joy, and unity.

On the 2nd day of April, 2025, students from various schools, including SJSFI, participated in a significant academic competition with impressive results.
Students from different grade levels were chosen to represent SJSFI for the Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School Math Challenge.

In category 1, out of 17 schools, the top 10 performing schools were selected. SJSFI Grade 7 and Grade 8 students secured an impressive 7th place, demonstrating strong performance and dedication. On the other hand, in Category 2, which involved 21 performing schools, SJSFI Grade 9 and Grade 10 students ranked 17th place. These results showcase the school's commitment to fostering its students' academic growth and preparing them to compete at more advanced levels.

These achievements also reflect the hard work and guidance of their coaches, Ms. Ella V. Mandado, Ms. Zuriel Morales Marcelo, and Ms. Roeyaine Ramos who played a crucial role in preparing the students for the competition. Their dedication and support were instruments for the students' success.

This competition provided an opportunity for students to showcase their skills in mathematics, including critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and promote intellectual growth.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners! Your dedication and hard work bring pride and honor to the school!

Behind every post you read, every photo you see, and every page you flip through โ€” thereโ€™s a team of passionate student journalists working together with one goal: to inform, inspire, and tell the stories of our beloved Josephian community.

This school year, we proudly introduce the Editorial Board and Members of Zenith Publication, the voices and eyes behind every article, layout, and snapshot youโ€™ve seen throughout the year. From covering school events, writing thought-provoking pieces, designing each page, and making sure every story is heard โ€” weโ€™ve poured our hearts into this work, not for recognition, but for the love of truth, creativity, and service.

To our fellow Josepheans, thank you for your support, your messages, your shares, and simply for reading what we publish. Youโ€™ve kept us going โ€” even through the busiest weeks and the latest nights. Knowing that our work reaches and connects with you has been our greatest reward.

As this becomes our final term in Zenith, we look back with so much pride and gratitude. Itโ€™s never been just about the write-ups or the photos โ€” itโ€™s about the bond we built, the lessons we learned, and the voice we found in ourselves and in each other.

We only hope that in the coming academic years, this passion continues โ€” that new members will rise and take up the pen, the camera, and the vision. May they write boldly, shoot with purpose, and carry on what weโ€™ve started โ€” and even go beyond.

To the next generation of Zenith, may you keep telling stories that matter. And to our readers, may you never stop supporting student journalism.

This is Zenith Publicationโ€” and this is our legacy.

On April 5, 2025, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as the long-awaited top five research paper defenses unfolded. Inside the conference room, the energy was thick with excitement and anxiety. Researchers sat poised, ready to present the culmination of months of hard work, while outside, murmurs and the faint crackle of microphones drifted through the hallway, heightening the nerves of everyone involved.

The panel featured esteemed guests: Mr. Alkauzar H. Tantong, SST III from Southcom National High School, and Engr. Edgar L. Coronel, a distinguished professor at ZPPSU. Both panelists brought a wealth of knowledge and experience, and their insightful critiques promised to elevate the quality of the research presented. As each researcher took their turn, the panelists posed thought-provoking questions and provided constructive feedback, fostering an environment of learning and growth. The comments shared by the panelists not only validated the researchers' efforts but also highlighted areas for improvement, allowing them to envision the potential impact of their work in the broader academic community.

With each presentation, it became clear that these defenses were more than just an academic requirement; they were a celebration of innovation and perseverance. The researchers demonstrated not only excellence but also a commitment to addressing real-world issues through their studies.

It was a privilege to engage with such accomplished judges, whose expertise illuminated the path forward for each researcher. Their feedback resonated with students, turning initial nerves into a deeper commitment to their craft.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our research advisers, Ms. Aurea Lara Ragdi, LPT and Ms. Michelle Leonardo, LPT, for their unwavering support and guidance throughout this process. Their mentorship helped to shape the researchers' ideas and fostered an environment where curiosity and learning thrived.

As the day concluded, it was evident that this experience had not only refined the researchersโ€™ skills but had also built a community of scholars eager to contribute thoughtfully to their fields.

Every child deserves the chance to read, understand, and grow. In line with this mission, the Elementary Department of Saint Joseph School Foundation Incorporated proudly launched a Reading and Numeracy Literacy Intervention Program that ran from November to March, held every Monday and Thursday, and catered to learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6โ€”with a special focus on supporting slow readers.

This intervention was designed to uplift learners who needed extra help in basic literacy and numeracy. What made this initiative even more effective was the combined use of traditional instructional materials (IMs) and modern digital resources, creating an engaging and multi-sensory approach to learning. The reading sessions were delivered in both English and Chinese, helping students become more confident and capable in a bilingual environment.

This journey of learning would not have been possible without the tireless dedication of our Elementary teachers, who showed patience, creativity, and compassion in every session. Their commitment to the studentsโ€™ progress truly reflects the heart of what education is all about.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Sergio T. Dela Noche, Jr., whose generous support in providing instructional materials made a significant difference in the success of this program. His unwavering belief in the power of education continues to inspire us all.

Together, we continue to nurture young minds and build a stronger foundation for lifelong learning.

Building upon the successful events from the 1st Day of Saint Joseph School's Foundation Day, the Day 2 continued with a lively and energetic celebration that brought extended blissfulness to the students.

On March 18th, 2025, the second day of Saint Joseph Schoolโ€™s Founding Anniversary, held at Fr. Aloysius Chang Gymnasium, commenced with a captivating Field Demonstration Presentation, a culmination of weeks of hard work and preparation by students โ€” showcasing their talent and skills. The presentations were met with enthusiastic applause and demonstrated the exceptional dedication among all Josepheans.

Following the morning session, the afternoon program, held in the SJSFI Gymnasium, at exactly 1:00pm to 3:00 pm, fostered camaraderie and enjoyment among students of all grade levels. With the Grade 12 students, expertly instructed by Ms. Ma. Mariel Benito โ€” SHS Academic Coordinator and Ms. Jazel Marie Elloreg, LPT, acted as facilitators, highly organizing and supervising a variety of games and activities.

For Kindergarteners a Movie Marathon was organized to engage them on a delightful spectacle of animated adventures and captivating storytelling, completely enthralling the lovely young Josepheans with exciting characters. Parlor Games also took place with the participation of Grades 1-6. The games offering playful competition, teamwork, and collaboration among the elementary students, successfully created lasting memories to everyone. Finally, Larong Lahi provided sportsmanship and amusement for the JHS and Grade 11 students that filled the Gymnasium with intense moments of skill and determination as students pushed their limits; the cheers of the spectators echoed throughout the venue, adding to the thrill of victory. The afternoon games implemented fostered strong bonds among all students of SJSFI.

The Saint Joseph Schoolโ€™s Foundation Day, Day 2, culminated in exceptional experiences and fun. The success of SJSFI 60th Founding Anniversary Celebration strengthened and reinforced the school communityโ€™s enduring spirit of unity, support, and virtue, an ethos present since its inception. As we celebrate sixty years of excellence, let us look forward with renewed purpose, improving the strong foundation laid by those who came before us, ensuring a bright and promising future for all who are part of our beloved SJSFI community
