On September 20, 2025, Saint Joseph School Foundation, Inc. prayerfully took part in the Archdiocesan Walk for Creation 2025, guided by the theme โPeace with Creation.โ The walk commenced at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and concluded at the historic Fort Pilar, where the faithful gathered in unity, offering prayers and reaffirming their shared commitment to the care of our common home. This meaningful initiative brought together parishes, schools, and organizations under the Archdiocese, highlighting the collective responsibility of the community in responding to the urgent call of ecological conversion.
The Josephean community, composed of administrators, faculty, and students, joined with deep devotion and commitment. Though the journey was marked by the challenge of walking under the intense heat of the sun, the students showed remarkable perseverance and discipline. Their willingness to endure physical discomfort was a clear manifestation of their dedication to the cause, reflecting both resilience and a genuine spirit of service. It was not mere participation but a conscious decision to be part of an ecclesial mission that goes beyond comfort and convenience.
As they journeyed under the sun, the students carried with them the values of faith, service, and responsibility. Their presence was not a pursuit of recognition but a conscious effort to strengthen the call to care for creation. Through their chants, prayers, and steadfast steps, they embodied the mission of Saint Joseph School Foundation, Inc. to be stewards of Godโs creation and witnesses of Laudato Si. The Josephean communityโs participation in the Archdiocesan Walk for Creation 2025 became a testimony of faith in action, showing that true commitment is revealed not in comfort but in sacrifice and challenge. In this way, the students and the entire institution affirmed their mission to form individuals who are not only academically competent but also socially responsible and spiritually grounded.
Indeed, through their resilience, service, and collective effort, the Josephean voice resounded clearly, declaring their readiness to journey with the Church and the wider community in building a future marked by peace, harmony, and care for creation.
