Today, we pause to honor the lives of our fellow Scouts: Outdoorsman Scout Geoffree, Outdoorsman Scout Alvien, and Outdoorsman Scout Emman who have gone home ahead of us. They embodied the 12 laws of scouting-- Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

Though their journeys were tragically cut short, their legacy lives on in the trails they blazed and the lives they touched. They taught us the true meaning of dedication and selfless service.

As we gather in reflection, let us carry their light forward, continuing the mission they so passionately embraced. May their lives inspire us to lead lives of purpose, honor, and compassion.

To our dear brothers, Geoff, Vien, and Emman may you rest in eternal peace. It was an honor serving with you. You already accomplished your duty to the country and others, and now, your duty to God commenced eternally. You will always remain in our hearts as we salute you with a Scout's promise to keep the flame of your memory alive.

SIGNAL SHUTDOWN SET 6PM-10PM, TODAY SATURDAY, SEPT 28| All network services will be temporarily cut off from 6pm to 10pm, Saturday, September 28, 2024 in the city as part of the security measures implemented in line with the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2024 Opening Salvo.

The opening salvo will kick off with the inter-barangay Bandoreal Competition and Civic Parade from City Hall to the Joaquin F Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex in Baliwasan at 4pm.

The signal shutdown is based on orders from the National Telecommunications Commission following the request of Mayor John Dalipe to ensure the safety and security of all participants during the opening salvo.
