According to Memorandum Circular No. As stated in the Proclamation No. 96, work in government offices will be suspended on September 22, 2025 (Monday) from 1:00 PM onwards to commemorate the Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day and the National Family Week celebration.

Zamboanga Chong Hua High School will have HALF-DAY CLASSES on Monday, September 22, 2025. Classes will stop by 12 noon only.

Bilang pagpatuloy ng mga aktibidad para sa Buwan ng Wika, isinagawa ng Filipino Club ang paligsahan sa larong "Sipa" noong Agosto 11, 2025 sa ZCHHS Covered Court.

Nilahukan ito ng mga mag-aaral mula sa iba't-ibang baitang ng Junior High School na buong siglang nagtagisan ng galing at bilis. Ang mga kalahok ay nagpakita ng husay nila sa paglalaro habang hinihikayat ng kanilang mga kaklase, na lalong nagbigay sigla sa kapaligiran.

Ang Sipa, isa sa mga pinakamatandang larong Pilipino, ay ginamit bilang paraan upang muling buhayin ang pagpapahalaga sa tradisyonal na laro ng bansa. Bukod sa kasiyahan, layunin ng patimpalak na ipakita sa mga kabataan na ang mga larong bayang ito ay may malaking parte sa pagkakakilanlan, pagkakaunawaan, at pagkakaisa ng bawat Pilipino.

Ang mga nanalo ay pinarangalan batay sa husay, bilis, at tiyaga sa laro. Ang nasabing paligsahan ay isa lamang sa mga aktibidad ng Filipino Club upang higit pang palaganapin ang pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika, sining, at kultura.

The City Government of Zamboanga, under the directive of Mayor Khymer Olaso, has confirmed that classes in all levels, public and private, will remain suspended on August 27, 2025 (Wednesday) due to unstable weather conditions.

To ensure safety and learning continuity, Mayor Olaso has instructed schools to utilize alternative delivery modes while face-to-face classes are suspended.

According to PAGASA, Zamboanga City will continue to experience heavy rains and thunderstorms brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The City Government of Zamboanga, under the direction of Mayor Khymer Olaso, has announced the suspension of classes of all levelsโ€”both public and privateโ€”on August 26, 2025 (Tuesday) due to inclement weather.

According to the latest advisory from PAGASA, Zamboanga City will experience cloudy skies, scattered rains, and heavy thunderstorms due to a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and the Southwest Monsoon, also known as Habagat.

Alinsunod sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ang Filipino Club ng Zamboanga Chong Hua High School ay nagsagawa ng paligsahan sa paggawa ng Slogan at Poster para sa baitang 7 hanggang 10. Ito ay ginanap noong Agosto 6, 2025 mula 9:00am hanggang 12:00pm. May kabuuang 12 estudyante ang sumali sa Slogan Making at 12 pang estudyante ang sumali sa Poster Making. Ang bawat kalahok ay gumawa ng kanilang sariling paraan ng malikhaing pagbibigay-kahulugan sa temang: "Ang Paglinang ng Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagbuo ng Bansa".

Ang patimpalak na ito ay pinamumunuan nina Binibining Shaimalyn Subahan, Ginang Kristina Anadio at ang mga tagapayo ng Filipino Club. Ang kaganapang ito ay naglalayong ipaalam sa mga nakababatang henerasyon kung paano ang paglago ng ating bansa ay hindi nahihiwalay sa kwento ng ating wika.

Ang mga kalahok sa kompetisyon na ito ay biswal na nirepresenta kung paano ang ating wika ay sumasalamin sa mga pakikibaka, pagkakaisa, pagkakakilanlan, at sa makasaysayang pag-unlad nito bilang salamin ng paglalakbay ng bansa at kung paano ito umunlad sa paglipas ng panahon, mula sa panahon ng pre-kolonyal hanggang sa kasalukuyang panahon.

Ang nasabing kompetisyon ay isa lamang sa maraming aktibidad na inihanda upang palaganapin hindi lamang ang kamalayan kundi para maakit ang mga mag-aaral na higit pang pag-aaralan ang ating wika at kultura.
