One of the reasons why I love Bisaya Language is because of its resilience. 🤩 It has served many Filipino families in the Philippines as a native language for hundreds of years, despite global changes that influences the diverse culture within the country. It has remained steadfast and even flourishing with the rise of social media. 😎
According to Binisaya.com, "The identity Bisaya is not exclusive to the Philippines because it also refers to some minority tribes in Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah.
"The discovery of Bisaya [bɪsʌˈjʌɁ] tribes there, as evidenced by articles from the Sarawak Museum Journal and the Sabah Society Journal (Zorc, 1975:55), stirred a flurry of studies on their relationship with the Philippine Bisaya and the origin of the Bisaya people."

Moreover, a fun fact from the Bisaya Language in Mindanao ‼️
GABA, or GAA-ba, means karma, a sum of a person's deeds or actions in this and previous states of existence.
But it also means, "You deserve it," a short term used to someone who got what he deserves from pi***ng someone off, or from his reckless behavior, (it is usually used to express the dislike of someone yet pleases to hear its own mishap).
