The 4th Civil Relations Group of the Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines is the unit responsible in conducting the civil and information support affairs in aid of the AFP’s Western Mindanao Command operations. This unit conducts factual information dissemination through its data gathering capabilities and production development. It is also tasked to identify, assess, and provide resolutions to stakeholders that contributes to the welfare of peace and development in the community.

As we celebrate National Reservist Month, we recognize the men and women who remain ready to serve the nation in different capacities as part of the AFP Reserve Force.

From reservists maintained for immediate mobilization, to those organized and maintained in reserve for national emergencies or war, and finally to citizen soldiers who have qualified for retirement but remain part of the Reserve Force, each classification serves a distinct role in strengthening the AFP’s capacity to respond when called upon.

Together, the Ready Reserve, Standby Reserve and the Retired Reserve classifications, form an organized reserve pool that provides the AFP with trained personnel and additional capability when circumstances require.
