STA. CRUZ MPS – Monthly Accomplishment Highlights (October 2025)

Under the leadership of PMaj Ronnie G. Caagbay, Chief of Police, Sta. Cruz MPS accomplished several significant activities for the month of October 2025, including anti-illegal drugs and anti-illegal fishing operations, implementation of search warrants, arrest of most wanted and other wanted persons, surrender of loose fi****ms, and the provision of security coverage for Undas 2025 ensuring public safety at cemeteries and convergence areas.

Administrative accomplishments highlighted the promotion of cleanliness and personnel welfare through the construction of a dirty kitchen and regular inspections. PCR activities included the distribution of ICE materials, attendance at State of the Barangay Address and Barangay Assemblies, participation in the Ad Hoc Committee interview for PNP applicants, as well as the conduct of dialogues, symposiums, mobile and beat patrols, checkpoints, and Oplan Bakal/Sita operations to maintain peace, order, and community safety.

An Anti-illegal fishing operation was conducted by personnel of Sta. Cruz MPS at around 5:20 AM on October 29, 2025, at Sitio Guinipang, Barangay Bolitoc, Sta. Cruz, Zambales, which resulted in the arrest of three (3) male individuals and the confiscation of one (1) air compressor and assorted fish weighing approximately fifteen (15) kilos.

Joint police operation results in the arrest of Infanta’s Top 1 Most Wanted Person

Joint elements of Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station (lead unit) and Infanta Police Station, Pangasinan PPO, successfully arrested the accused listed as Top 1 Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level) of Infanta, Pangasinan, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

The said warrants were issued under Criminal Case Nos. B-2090 and B-2091 by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 70, Burgos, Pangasinan, dated October 17, 2025.

No bail recommended for CC No. B-2090

PHP 200,000.00 bail recommended for CC No. B-2091

The arrested person is now under the custody of Infanta Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

PNP STA. CRUZ MPS, ZAMBALES PROVINCIAL POLICE OFFICE

Sta. Cruz, Zambales — In line with the intensified campaign of the Philippine National Police against illegal drugs, personnel of Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station (MPS) – Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Zambales PPO, conducted a successful anti-illegal drug (buy-bust) operation that resulted in the arrest of three (3) suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs and a firearm.

The operation led to the seizure of approximately 2.53 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price of ₱17,204.00, weighed using a non-calibrated weighing scale.

Also recovered during the operation was one (1) Caliber .40 S&W pistol bearing serial number 795912, with an inserted magazine loaded with five (5) live ammunition.

Appropriate criminal complaints for Violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act) were filed against the arrested suspects before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Iba, Zambales.

This successful operation manifests the unwavering commitment of Sta. Cruz MPS, under the leadership of Police Major RONNIE G. CAAGBAY, Chief of Police, to eradicate the proliferation of illegal drugs and maintain peace and order within the municipality.
