Recently, I built a full Meta Ads strategy for a hair care brand.

We did everything:
✔️ Researched the audience

✔️ Crafted strong UGC and offer positioning

✔️ Structured the funnel across TOF, M*F, BOF

✔️ Focused on clarity, testing, and scaling

The result?

A 5.8x ROAS on a modest budget in less than 2 weeks. 💥

Needless to say, the client was thrilled. I was too.

So naturally, I thought:

“Let’s apply this same framework to a similar beauty brand and scale again.”

But this time?

It didn’t work. 😐

The Challenge
A local skincare brand wanted to sell their hair serum online.
→Limited pixel data.
→Rs.15,000 total spend.
→12 days to make it work.

The Strategy:
We broke it into 2 phases:
Phase 1 – Testing (Days 1–6):
→ Ran 3 creatives (UGC video, static before/after, benefit-led reel)
→ Manual interest targeting (hair care, personal care)

Phase 2 – Scaling (Days 7–12):
→ Picked the top performer
→ Doubled down with consistent budget & creative

The Results:

💰 Rs. 148 cost per purchase

How Red Bull use 'Trash Bins' to go viral in London (Literally)🗑️😄

In 1994, Red Bull was launching in London — a market already full of big competitors.

But instead of spending millions on advertising, they used a very simple psychological trick to get attention.

First, they figured out where their ideal customers hung out the most — places like colleges, bars, railway stations, etc.

Then… they filled the trash bins of those places with empty Red Bull cans.

That’s it.

Now imagine: you're walking into your college or a bar… and everywhere you look, the trash bins are filled with Red Bull cans.

What would you think?

"Everyone’s drinking it… am I missing out?"

That’s FOMO in action — The Fear of Missing Out.

This smart little trick made people believe Red Bull was already popular… so they started drinking it too.

Result? A fake illusion turned into real demand.

Red Bull didn’t just sell a drink — they sold social proof.

They made people feel like they were missing out on something everyone else was already enjoying.

Lesson:

🚨 Stop making these common mistakes on Facebook Ads!

Facebook Ads are very powerful but sometimes they just don't give results & waste the whole budget!

I have figured out 4 common mistakes that could waste your budget (and how to fix them!):

1. Ignoring Ad Fatigue – When people see the same ad too many times, they stop paying attention. Solution? Refresh your ad every few weeks with new images or headlines!

2. Over-Optimizing Targeting – A super-narrow audience limits your reach, while a too-broad audience wastes money. Test different audience sizes and use Lookalike Audiences for better results.

3. Testing Too Many Things at Once – If you change everything (image, text, CTA) in one go, you won’t know what worked. Test one thing at a time for clear results.

4. Making Changes Too Quickly – Facebook needs 3-5 days to optimize your ad. If you keep changing things, your ad will never perform well. Be patient!
