Pakistan Tales

Pakistan Tales A visual journey across Pakistan to document and promote diversity, pluralism and culture of resilience. Hi.

My name is Danial Shah and i work as a travel and documentary photographer in Pakistan. I have been traveling extensively across the country since 2009 and have experienced a lot of diversity of ethnicity, religion, language and culture. I found out that the diversity our country has is not widely celebrated. Therefore, i am traveling within the country with a mission to to generate awareness abo

ut a different Pakistan often not represented in mainstream media. Pakistan Tales is an ongoing photography and travel series, an attempt to understand my country, the land, it’s people and everyday life. Through travel and photos, i want to understand as well as promote diversity, pluralism and culture of resilience with an aim to develop tolerance and acceptance. Once story at a time to illuminate things that unite us as human beings. You can support Pakistan Tales by taking part in the conversation and passing it on. If you’ve a story and want me to visit your region/city/village, please send me an email at pakistantales[at]gmail.com.
