"Pharmacy Services" refers to services rendered by a pharmacist, including pharmaceutical care, drug selection, posology, patient counseling, dispensing, drug use, administration, prescription monitoring, pharmacoepidemiology, therapeutic goods information and poison control, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoeconomics, storage, sales, procurement, forecasting, supply chain management, distribution, drug utilization evaluation, drug utilization review, formulary-based drug utilization, and the management of therapeutic goods at all levels including pharmacies, clinics, medical stores, hospitals, or other medical institutions.

When implemented effectively, these services are fundamental to ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines for patients and healthcare systems alike.

This raises an important question, on what basis has the PMDC correlated pharmacy services with quackery❓

حکومت اور پی ایم ڈی سی کو شاید یہ بھول گیا ہے کہ فارمیسی ایکٹ کے تحت ہمارا ایک اپنا ادارہ ہے جسے پاکستان فارمیسی کونسل کہا جاتا ہے۔ پی ایم ڈی سی کا ہماری ہسپتال پریکٹس کو غیر قانونی قرار دینا اور سرکاری چینلز کا اس جھوٹ کو پھیلانا سراسر ناانصافی اور ہماری پانچ سالہ محنت کی توہین ہے۔ ہم فارم ڈی کے طلباء اور الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے پیشہ ور افراد کسی طور پر بھی فالتو نہیں ہیں کہ جب جس کا جی چاہے ہمیں سائیڈ لائن کر دیا جائے۔ ہم ہیلتھ کیئر سسٹم کے اہم ستون ہیں اور ہمارے بغیر ہسپتال چلانا ناممکن ہے۔ میڈیکل لیب ہو یا فارمیسی، یہ سب پروفیشنل شعبے ہیں، کسی کی جاگیر نہیں کہ پی ایم ڈی سی یہاں اپنی مرضی چلائے۔ سرکاری نیوز چینلز پر بیٹھ کر ہمیں نیچا دکھانے کی کوشش کو ہم ہرگز قبول نہیں کریں گے۔ ہم نے یہ ڈگری صرف ڈسپنسری چلانے کے لیے نہیں لی، ہم کلینیکل ماہرین ہیں۔ حکومت کو چاہئے کہ وہ ہوش کے ناخن لے اور ہمارے پروفیشن میں مداخلت بند کرے، ورنہ ہم اپنے حقوق کے لیے ہر حد تک جائیں گے۔
