If I could rewrite one chapter of our story, I wouldn't erase the heartbreak or the disappointments. I would only change the way I spoke to you through them. I would remind you that flowers never question the spring that arrives late, and neither should you question the timing of your own becoming.
So this is my long-overdue apology.
