With the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Life,” the Department of Food Sciences, UAF Sub-Campus Burewala, celebrated the diverse tapestry of flavors and the spirit of community on October 16, 2025. The event featured a vibrant display of food stalls where students showcased inventive culinary creations — each offering a unique blend of culture, creativity, and care.

Distinguished officers from the Punjab Food Authority and representatives of various sponsor companies participated in the sensory assessments, adding valuable insights to the event. The day concluded with the announcement of positions, recognizing the students’ dedication, innovation, and passion for food excellence.

“This is my straight path, so follow it. And do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His way. This is what He has enjoined upon you, so that you may be mindful of Allah.” (Surah Al-An’am 6:153)

The truest expression of love for the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is to revive his authentic Sunnah in our lives. The true love is to follow, not to innovate.
Our duty is to send peace and blessings upon him, study his Seerah to understand his teachings, and implement them with sincerity.
