Message from UET Taxila students.
We also know that Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood announced that all educational institutions can accommodate 1/3 students from remote areas, who have issues related to Internet connectivity, Electricity and financial issues. Regarding this problems, we meet the VC of UET Taxila but he referred us to the district administration saying that all the university hostels are under their control. So we contacted the Assistant commissioner and told him about situations and he clearly told us that you can stay in hostel as per notification issued by government. Instead of this, to provide us hostel facilities, the UET Taxila administration cutoff our hostel electricity and internet connectivity since the last four days and even though they threaten us to leave the hostel immediately otherwise your hostel allotment will be cancelled and even you will be expel from university. We have tried a lot to discuss the problems through dialogues but they don't even ready to discuss the issues.

Students of UET Taxila, Sub Campus Chakwal are on strike at front of VC office. They are facing issues regarding their studies. Campus has been converted into University of Chakwal. Now students don't have teachers, labs, lectures halls and hostel facilities. Administrators of UOC and UET Taxila are not paying attention on their issues.

After the discussion of Dean with Vice Chancellor, this decision has been made and will be notified tomorrow

Notification
As per instructions of Government, the university will open on September 15,2020. All staff and faculty will report in their offices on said date. Classes of 1st,3rd,5th,7th(Fall 2020 Semester)shall be commenced from Ist October 2020 in line with decision of Syndicate. Final Exams of 2nd semester Spring 2020 for intake 2019 will be held on campus as per Academic Calendar. Date sheet will be issued by COE accordingly.
All students of intake 2019 are allowed on campus w. e.f September 15,2020. All students of rest of semesters as well as newly admitted students of Intake 2020 will be allowed on campus from Ist October.
SOPs and safety health instructions shall be followed in true letter and spirit. Any student found in violation of SOP/any other rule will be expelled from university.

It is reported with immense grief that our beloved graduate from 15-Mech Chakwal campus, brother Nosher has lost his life today due to Cardiac Arrest. May Allah grant him high ranks in Jannah.

*** UET Admission Information 2020 ***

A mock test will be held at the assigned Virtual University centers on the allotted time. Similarly, Ecat will be held one week after the mock test at the designated Virtual University centers on the alloted date and time.
