Punjab’s Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has officially announced that all public and private schools across the province will now reopen on September 1, extending the summer break by one month.

Schools in Punjab had already started their summer break from May 28 due to a severe heatwave, earlier than the initially planned date of June 1.
