Mian Zulfiqar Ahmed, Owner of Cola Next, One of Pakistan’s Highest Tax Payers in 2023, Kidnapped: A Call for Justice
Mian Zulfiqar Ahmed, a dedicated businessman who has significantly contributed to Pakistan’s economy, was kidnapped while leaving work. Despite his immense contributions, including being one of the highest taxpayers in 2023, this is how our country repays him.
Instead of moving his assets abroad, Mian Zulfiqar Ahmed chose to invest and do business here, believing in Pakistan’s potential. However, his safety has been compromised, highlighting a dire issue for all business leaders and investors in the country.
Shockingly, the police refused to file an FIR initially, forcing his family to seek court intervention. This delay in justice is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the safety and security of our entrepreneurs. It has been five days now, and Mian Zulfiqar Ahmed is still not home.
How can we attract foreign investments when our own business leaders are not safe? This incident demands immediate attention and action. Let’s stand together to ensure justice for Mian Zulfiqar Ahmed and a safer environment for all.
