Report on Three-Day Residential Scout Ithad Badge

From 13–15 August 2026, a three-day residential Scout Ithad Badge Camp was successfully organized at Shaheen Abad, Ishkoman, bringing together 74 Boy Scouts in a structured learning and practical training environment.
The camp was organized with the objective of providing Scouts with the knowledge, practical skills, discipline, and values required to complete the Ithad Badge while strengthening their understanding of teamwork, responsibility, service, and the Scout Movement.
Throughout the three day camp, the Scouts participated in a range of learning and practical activities, including:
🔹 Introduction to Scouting, its history, and the Scout Movement
🔹 Basic Scout knots, lashing, and hitches
🔹 Gadget-making and practical Scout skills
🔹 Scout uniform, signs, traffic rules, and whistle signals
🔹 Outdoor cooking and hiking
🔹 First Aid, rescue, and emergency-response skills
🔹 Scout Law and Scout Promise
🔹 Reading Book Activity
🔹 Community environmental awareness drive
🔹 Independence Day celebration on 14 August
A Reading Book Activity was also included as an important part of the badge program. The Scouts were provided with books and encouraged to develop a regular reading habit. They were instructed to continue and complete the assigned reading at home after the camp.
A major highlight of the camp was the community environmental awareness drive, where the Scouts prepared awareness posters and engaged with the local community to raise awareness about environmental changes and the importance of protecting the environment. This activity encouraged the Scouts to put the values of service and responsibility into practice.
The camp was successfully managed with the support of 10 dedicated staff members and whose commitment and teamwork ensured the effective implementation of the program and the well being of all participants.
The camp was also honored by visits from the District Commissioner of Ishkoman and the District Commissioner of Ghizer, who interacted with the Scouts and organizers and appreciated the efforts being made to promote youth development and Scouting in the region.
