DADI AIN : I’ve never seen a place or met people as wonderful as in Hunza.
On my recent trip from Addis Ababa to Malawi, I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely lady from London, Miss Ain. She is 78 years old and truly one of the most humble people I’ve ever come across.
While we were chatting during the flight, she asked me where I was from. I replied, I’m from Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
The moment she heard that, she placed her hand on her heart and said, Oh my God, that’s such a beautiful place — nothing less than paradise.
She told me she had visited Hunza before the COVID-19 pandemic and shared how deeply impressed she was by the region and its people. She said I’ve traveled to around 30 to 35 countries, but I’ve never seen a place or met people as wonderful as in Hunza.
Hearing this made my heart swell with joy.
The reason I’m sharing this story is simple: when we travel abroad and hear others speak so warmly about our homeland, it fills us with pride and happiness.❤️‍🩹
