As per vision of Vice Chancellor PU Lahore, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood sb, an independence day celebration and tree plantation drive was held at PUGC. Sir Abdul Wahab Attari Country Head Education Department Dawat-e-Islami, Muhammad Fayaz Attari Country Head Courses Forum, Muhammad Afzal Attari, Muhammad Yaqub Attari Gujranwala City Supervisor, Ejaz Madani attended the flag hoisting and plantation ceremony on the occasion of 14th August Independence Day.

The whole Faculty Members of Punjab University Gujranwala Campus called on Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Anwar Ch. Sb, Dean, Faculty of Business, Economics & Administrative Sciences to congratulate him on his successive appointment. The faculty also had an excellent insightful brainstorming session with Dean sb. where campus and university level issues were discussed. The meeting ended with a note of thanks by Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Anwar Ch. sb. and an invitation of visit by the faculty of PUGC. The undersigned is highly thankful to all faculty members who spared their valuable time.

وائس چانسلر پنجاب یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر خالد محمود کے ویژ ن کے مطابق اور ڈائریکٹر جنرل ادارہ فروغ قومی زبان اسلام آباد ڈاکٹر سلیم مظہر کی ذاتی خواہش پر پنجاب یونیورسٹی گوجرانولہ کیمپس اور ادارہ فروغ قومی زبان اسلام آباد کے باہمی اشتراک سے " تعمیر قوم میں نوجوانوں کا کردار: فکر اقبال کی روشنی میں " کے پراثر موضوع پر ایک روزہ سیمینار منعقد کیا گیا جسکی صدارت پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد مدثر غفور ڈائریکٹر جنرل پنجاب یونیورسٹی گوجرانولہ کیمپس نے کی ۔ مختلف سکالرز جن میں مذہبی سکالر مفتی لقمان شمس ، ہیڈ آف انگلش ڈیپارٹمنٹ گفٹ یونیورسٹی ڈاکٹر محمد اجمل خان ،اور ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر ادارہ فروغ قومی زبان اسلام آباد ڈاکٹر راشد حمید نے طلبہ وطالبات سے خطاب کیا ۔ اس پروگرام میں مختلف تعلیمی اداروں کے طلبا وطالبات کے مابین ترنم سے کلام اقبال پڑھنے کا مقابلہ بھی ہوا ۔ آخر میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد مدثر غفور صاحب نے جیتنے والے طلبا وطالبات میں انعامات تقسیم کیے اور پروگرام آرگنائزر حافظ عمران اکرم انچارج ڈیپارٹمنٹ کامرس ، عمیر علی ڈپٹی خزانہ دار اسٹیٹ آفیسر کیپٹن عمران ، ڈاکٹر سلیم مظہر اور ادارہ فروغ قومی زبان اسلام آباد کی جملہ ٹیم کا شاندار پروگرام ترتیب دینے پر شکریہ ادا کیا اور مہمانان گرامی کو اعزازی شیلڈ سے نوازا ۔
مزید برآں طلباوطالبات نے ادارہ فروغ قومی زبان اسلام آباد کی جانب سے لگائے گے کتابوں کے سٹالز میں گہری دلچسپی کا مظاہرہ کیا ۔

17th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of Sports Gala 2024 was held at PU Gujranwala Campus. More than 1000 students participated in17th Annual Sports Gala under the supervision of Director General Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mudasar Ghafoor and Sports Society of PUGC. Special congratulations to Dr. Hafiz Ehsan ur Rehman chairman Sports Society who managed the Event Successfully. In addition to, we are thankful to the faculty members; Hafiz Imran Akram, Dr. Muzzamil Khurshid, Haris Khan, Mr. Burhan, Dr. Ghulam Mustafa, Dr. Salman Naseer, Madam Farhana Aziz, Dr. Navid Jhamat Khan, Dr. Sarfraz, Cap. Imran, Umair Ali and other faculty members and employees who played their role to make tge event successful. Total more than 38 different Games were held among the students and winners were graced with Medals, Shields, Certificates and Trophies. The Departmental Trophy was WON by the Department of Law. Congratulations to all the participants, winners and Runner ups. We are thankul to the sponsoring bodies which include DHA, Papa John's and Forward Sports.
