BTCT test👉 Bleeding time clotting time test.
This test is accomplish to check amount of time taken by blood to clot in order to stop bleeding.

METHOD:
👉Clean the finger tip or ear lobe with swab in adult while in infant clean heel of foot.
👉Puncture that area through lancet almost 5mm deep and start stopwatch.
👉Aspirate the blood through filter paper after every 30sec in circular form shown in picture.
👉Normal time is 5 to 7 min.
PURPOSE:
Purpose is to check out platelets count, Lever function test in order to evaluate platelets count and vascular ability in performing platelet plug.

Mental health is Very much important as physical health.
Now a days the entire population is suffering from depression and anxiety due to domestic violence, inferiority complexes, child abuses which may lead to harsh behaviour of the child in future and Many more negative relationship of the society.
🤔 But how we can get rid of all these factors which is badly impact on our mental health. This task is very much difficult but not impossible..
The first and foremost bullet point is to value your self. You are the best from every thing. It is very sad that we should value a non living things like mony, gold but we forget about ourselves. We should value the toxic behaviour of other person and as a result with the passage of time we suffering form anxiety.

👉 Billroth 1 (gastroduodenostomy) Removal of the lower portion of the stomach and the remaining segment anastomosed to the duodenum.
👉 Billroth 2 ( gastrojejunostomy) Removal of lower portion of stomach with anastomosis to jejunum.

Just for peptic ulcer diseases.
🤔 But why Lower third portion should be removed in peptic ulcer?
Because we have only one purpose which is to decrease production of HCL.
Lower third portion of stomach contain gastrin cells, which are responsible for secretion of HCL.

👉 Problem #02. IV FLUSHING TECHNIQUES
When IV catheter is intacted to the patient, some of the IV line is blocked due to phlebitis(inflammation of the vein). Due to this blockage no more fluid or medicine not pass out easily through this IV line..
So most of the people flush IV line through distal water in order to clear the vein..
The free floating clot (Thrombus) are formed as a result of flushing.
🤷 When this thrombus block one of the blood vessel, like vessel in brain 🧠 leads to ischemic stroke or coronary artery in the heart 💓 leads to Heart attack and many more leads to Necrosis of the tissue.
So what are the best intervention you can do?
👉Distal water 💦 is the normal water which can not dissolve any blood clot in the body.
So we use NORMAL SALINE as a first priority, because Normal saline contain sodium which have dissolving capacity, Dissolve the blood clot which is very safe in use. Heparin is also optional, but problems is not available on the spot in many clinical areas...
If Normal saline is not available, you can also use RINGER (also containing sodium).🙂

👉Problem #01: AIR EMBOLISM
When a drug bolus is injected from a syringe good clinical practice is to both eject all air from the syringe and to aspirate blood into the syringe before injection.
From Infusion pump, Drip set and injection, when air is infused into the blood stream, it may cause AIR EMBOLISM, which is life threatening.
The risk of air injection can be reduced by careful handling of intravenous administration devices.
When small amount of air injected into the body, it is not dangerous as compared to large air bubbles. These small amount float along until they find a good place to reach the lungs. These gases are absorbed into the blood and they disappear.
When large amount of air bubbles is infused into the blood stream, they damage tissue in two ways;
1. an immediate obstructive ischemic effect, when the bubble occludes a blood vessel.
2. By provoking a longer term thromboinflammatory response at the tissue microbubble interface.
In order to reduce the risk, we have to flush the large air bubbles in a proper way.🤷
